I do love the look and feel of their Redefined Pine flooring. It's beautiful and it seems to be top quality. The only issue I ran into was that my contractor had given me a piece count for the number of stair nosings I needed to order. When the pieces arrived he brought me into staging area and showed me exactly how long the nose pieces measured and he said they were about a half inch shorter than the standard measurement other manufacturers make (I don't remember the specific measurements just that they were short.) It ended up that I needed to order extra pieces in order to finish my space so my project ended up being delayed. I don't know if it was truly the flooring that was wrong or my contractor but it was a hiccup nonetheless and I ended up having to spend a few hundred more dollars than I expected. But all that aside my floors look fantastic and I would definitely recommend the product.

Similar experience to the other reviewer, flatly refused to honor the warranty in spite of it being an obvious manufacturers defect

ordered 34 boxes of Cali Vinyl flooring and had it delivered. After sitting in my house for 48 hours it was installed by a professional person with tons of experience putting these floors in, many of which I had previously inspected. All looked top notch! My installer went to home depot and asked for their best moisture barrier and was told by a home depot associate which one to buy which he did. My installer did a meticulous job putting the floor in. With in 2 days after the installation, the floor made cracking sounds when we walked on it and with in 3 days the planks began to "cup". When I reached out to Cali I was told I used the wrong vapor barrier and the floor was my problem. If the vapor barrier is the problem then why is only a third of the floor cupping. Why does Cali not specify what type of moisture barrier to use? I begged them to send someone out to inspect the floor. I was told "no need to send someone out, it's the vapor barrier, this case is closed. We will no longer respond to your calls or emails." I have a $7000.00 floor that has to be picked up and thrown away. Beware!
