We recently ordered a product and ran into several issues. We didn’t receive emails that it had been shipped, a tracking number, or an email that it was delivered. When we reached out to customer service they were incredibly unhelpful both by email and phone. It feels like a scam. Apparently they claim our item was delivered although we never received it. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we assumed it was stolen from our doorstep while we were at work. However, they have been unhelpful with next steps. By email they have been slow to respond and uncommunicative. By phone they took a bunch of our information and gave us an a phone number to call for more help. It seemed weird and when I called it was a disconnected number. I called the first number back and was given a completely different phone number. Before I could confirm the person hung up on me. The second number was for a completely different business. Overall an awful experience. We will not be purchasing from them again.

Great Start, Terrible Follow-Up, No Refund, No Response

Initially, CanaKit provided great support they helped me with my order and even included a small bonus, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, everything went downhill afterward. Once the order was placed, UPS lost the package. I reached out to CanaKit multiple times for help, but they never responded to my emails. As a result, I’m left with no package, no refund, and no follow-up from their team.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and feels unprofessional. A replacement or a refund should be standard when a package is lost, especially when the customer is trying to communicate. I wish I had known this before ordering, as I would have purchased the items through Amazon instead, where customer service and buyer protection are much more reliable.

I hope CanaKit improves their post purchase support and communication, because the initial service was promising, but the lack of follow-through ruined the entire experience.

Poor customer service

I ordered this kit and when I received it, I had issues. I was not working correctly. I was told to return and once received they would send me a new one. It took much to long for them to finally send me a replacement. I had to call them before they acknowledged they had received. When I send back the old board, I accidentally left the micro card in it, I asked if they would send me a new one or send the old card back and they refused. I called them several times and never got a return call. Their customer service is awful. I would never buy from them.

Raspberry Pi 4 EXTREME Kit

I bought the "CanaKit Raspberry Pi 4 EXTREME Kit - Aluminum (Silver and Black)". It came quick and complete. I used mine to run adguard home as a personal dns server. The kit came with everything I needed and a good set of instructions. I would definitely buy from them again.
