Our mission is to advise, source, offer, and efficiently deliver professional audio and lighting products that offer great value for money! We offer very competitive everyday prices on all products and are large enough to provide a broad range, while still being small enough to offer great, personalised service. We have been around since the '80's, and purchased our current building in 2002. You can be assured that we are here for the long haul and will be here in the future should you require product support. Our main focus is on customer service. We don't mind going the extra distance, to either help you find the equipment you are looking for or get your order to you as quickly and as efficiently as possible. If we can't help you with your enquiry we will always try to steer you in the right direction. We won't try and sell you something that you don't need. We are aiming to impress and not just satisfy Cannon customers! Cannon Sound Systems was established by present owner Daniel Trevor around 30 years ago as a Sydney based PA hire business. The formula back then was a simple one - recoup the cost of each and every PA system within it's first 12 months of rental, which could only be done by using cost effective components that proved reliable. A working musician to this day, in the 80's it was not uncommon for Daniel to be training PA operators at the same time as being up on stage performing in his band The Swinging Sixties. In the mid 90's the 20 rental rigs were sold off as Cannon Sound And Light transitioned into the distribution and sales of audio and lighting equipment. Around 2010 son Joel, an avid music lover, came on board to take over the day to day running of the business. To this day, prior to offering a product for sale, we still consider whether or not we'd hire that same product out! Today Cannon Sound And Light is the Australian distributor for EWI cables, DuraTex speaker cabinet coatings, Krane AMG equipment carts, as well as a local stockist for many other major brands, including QSC, JTS, DB Technologies, Shure, Furman, Road Ready, Allen & Heath, Neutrik, Chauvet, Intellistage, Gator, Chiayo, RCF, BeamZ and Behringer.
