Very disappointed with my experience with carstore regarding my car purchase. Despite raising my concerns and following up multiple times, I have still not received a satisfactory response or resolution.
Multiple recurring issues have been diagnosed within just one year of purchasing the car.

I recently purchased a car from the Dublin branch and had a really positive experience throughout the process. From the initial enquiry to completing the purchase, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Phil was friendly, helpful, and took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel pressured.
The car was exactly as described, in excellent condition, and the whole buying process was straightforward and stress-free. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable car and good customer service.

I put a deposit on a car. The next day I contacted the salesman i was dealing with and explained i had changed my mind. I was told that's it not a problem. And that i would get my deposit back. For 2 weeks this went on. I contacted them nearly every day, and was told"we are not forgetting about you". I was asked to call in on a Monday, which i did. And they told me that they were only giving me half of my deposit back. The original deposit was €3,000.And they kept me waiting sitting around for an hr. The very next day I got my full deposit back, when i stood outside kearys carstore with signs saying "kearys stole my deposit".
Do not buy a car from them

Hi recently went to purchase a car from kearys car store cork but had a very bad experience the communication was absolutely shocking from Liam and warren is a disgrace I was contacting them but they hadn't the manners to contact me back, I rang one day to be told Warren will ring you back but nothing but obviously they sold the car. I have bought 5 cars from them but that doesn't seem to matter with them new management don't know but that was never the way before. I applied for finance for the car but was told no and when I suggested I have a guarantor that doesn't work unfortunately I was told. So I shopped around and with in one day I had my car from ford traded in my own car and got a new car and finance approved straight away and at a better rate than keatrys carstore be very careful what you buy from them or they way they treat you.

This was my first time dealing with Kearys Car Store in Dublin, I had a seamless experience, Ryan Byrne in Dublin was so helpful, professional and always willing to assist with any query I had regarding the mini countryman I was purchasing, I am delighted with the car and the service I received from all staff when collecting the car it was A1😀

OShocking and very disppointing experience. 3 years ago we bought 2 cars from car store for me and for my dad. Unfortuantelly my dad recently passed away and i wanted to keep paying his loan for the next two years for the remaining balance of €11500 car store first told me to go and speak to RCI bank as they get the loan approvals from them so i rang the guy at the bank was nice gave me 3 options he said either hand the car back to car store , pay the balance in full or transfer the loan in to your name for the remaining balance i said oky i am happy to transfer in to our name. When went back to car store warren advised that "BUSSINESS HAS TO MAKE MONEY" so they said they will have to resell the car back to for a higher price over €14000 plus interest so advise me to go get a personal loan. I was very disaapointed specially during this hard and uosetting time seeing no empathy or understanding and hearing the same sentence few times that business has to make money was so upsetting (for a car that they already sold to us for €23000) and was very disspointing would not recommend them at all as everything is nice and lovely untill ye purchase the car.. of course every business has to make money but there could be some circumstances that company should be able to help during these upsetting times as trust me loosing a parent is already too hard and then we have to keep up with these type of people is way more heath breaking. Please think twice before buying a car from them.

**Buyer Beware. When you spend 45k do not expect any aftersale care. They refuse to respond to emails or calls after selling a faulty car.
So we bought a Jaguar F Pace in late March (kearys garage Demo car). It was delivered to our door, no fuel in it and filthy dirty outside.includimg a large scratch across the bonnet. They promised they had fully serviced the car but when we switched on the engine the car shock as the engine was not firing correctly. It took 2 months for them to book us in to their workshop. After a full day in the garage, we were informed that they didn't have the correct diagnostic kit. Booked in the following week to be taken into. Jaguar garage. No follow up call to say they needed the car for the next week as they found a fault. No mention what the fault is. Now 8 days later, no calls from Kearys to say when our car will be ready. No response to emails and they don't answer their phones.
I will never buy from Kearys again. There is zero after care service even though they offer a year warranty. It has taken 4 months for them to acknowledge a fault and now they won't update us. I have heard there are a number of irate customers experiencing the same issues as us.
Cheaper car prices but terrible customer service.

Such an easy experience, staff were so kind and very very helpful especially Warren who helped me through everything.

Bought an Audi a6 2017 in December although the sales rep phil was really good we have had nothing but trouble since we bought it 1st problem heater core went took 3 weeks to fix when we got the car back it was blowing hot air only out of the front aircon wasn't working. 2nd problem driving and heard noise coming from back wheel bolt had come off rear calibre got jammed in the wheel could have been killed. Rang carstore as car is under warranty 3 weeks ago still waiting on a call back had to pay to get it fixed as noone called me back stir well CLEAR OF THIS DEALER CARS NOT CHECKED OR SERVICED BEFORE YOU BUY and be careful of the finance department they go with companies with the highest interest rates. Would never buy from them again ..bunch of cowboys

Went through the finance and it was so easy and the staff team was really available and understanding

Bought a mercedes beautiful looking car. Had it 3 months. Then would not start or drive. Got towed away. Took 6 weeks to get it back. Got it back and a another problem got it towed again another 3 weeks with out a car. Went up to the car work shop looking for some update on the car and the manager of the garage said what do you expect buying a second hand Mercedes. I said it caused me 15.500 thousand euros. All in they were no help at all had my car for 9 weeks and would not extend my warranty for a extra 9 weeks. Keep away the car maintenance department are useless and will not put anything work they carried out on your car in writing. Terrible experience and after sales help

I bought a 2018 Nissan Qashqai from this Dublin dealership on finance. During the sale, I was persuaded to take out an additional insurance package that was described as covering dents, scrapes, paint scuffs, and similar damage.
When my car suffered what I considered to be a small dent, I contacted them to have it repaired. My claim was refused on the basis that the dent was too large, even though I believed it was only a minor dent. I felt the policy had been misrepresented to me, so I cancelled it.
What made matters worse was that after cancelling the policy, my finance repayments were never reduced, despite the cost of the insurance having been built into the finance agreement. I repeatedly contacted both the dealership and the head office in Cork by phone and email to try to resolve the issue, but my calls and emails went unanswered.
I even asked if the policy could be reinstated so I could make a claim, but that request was also refused.
Based on my personal experience, I was very disappointed with both the insurance product and the level of customer service I received. I would encourage anyone considering this type of optional insurance to carefully read the terms and conditions, ask exactly what is and isn't covered, and make sure they understand how cancelling the policy could affect their finance agreement before agreeing to it.
This version is suitable for a public review because it clearly states that these are your personal experiences and avoids making allegations that you cannot prove as fact. If you plan to post it on Google or Trustpilot, it's more likely to comply with their review policies.
