Always reliable and speedy service.
Prompt efficient service. I only use the services of Catering24 once or twice a year and consequently would not suggest myself to be a regular customer however I have always found them to be reliable and their products of good quality. As my use is limited it is also helpful to be able to purchase items in smaller quantities and thereby not need to store large amounts of bulky unused items from one annual event to another.

They just don’t care!
DPD contacted me to say delivery was delayed. Contacted Catering24 after two days and told them. First person at 9am says she’ll contact DPD for an update, never called me back. Second person at 3pm says she’ll pass it on and get back to me, she didn’t.
This now leaves me without my packaging which I desperately need for the weekend.
As a one man band small business owner, do I have time to keep chasing this up? No. I ordered a week in advance to needing this item and it still hasn’t happened. Will be looking for an alternative supplier.

EGreen pint and half pint cups.
The EGreen pint and half pint cups for our festival are the best price for us. Postage superb, as it took one day to deliver. However, we had one box of 1000 pint cups missing and I contacted Laura at Catering24. She arranged an immediate phone call to DPD, cam eback and said thy would deliver the missing box. That arrived the next day. The pint of this review is this fact:- When you get an issue with a company you have to go through hoops sometimes to resolve it. Not with this company. I would use every time.

Great experience, quick and easy tracked delivery with DPD , so you know exactly when the parcel was arriving
I had recently purchased from the Packaging Bubble and they only delivered 10 % of the order, and I would warn people to stay well away from them and use this company

Items not delivered on time and was called to see if delivery was ok but hadn’t even taken place they had to re-order the items and send out again. Bit inconvenient, but probably the couriers fault

No more next day delivery when placing min order , you should change the name to catering72
Company change their next day free delivery when meeting min order to just on Wed and Thurs delivery, without even being bothered to inform customers about it. And I understand you try to keep cost down, but if I am not informed that suddenly you changed your delivery, I do have a right to be upset that I was suddenly left without my order on time

Good afternoon Iga,
I appreciate your feedback and can see you are frustrated with the new delivery structure. Please allow me to explain.
Since you opened your account in 2022, we have only decreased your and our other customers prices through the C24 Kitchen Club, we are proud to have been probably one of the only suppliers in the UK to have done this for our customers and we appreciate your loyalty in return. This contrasts with the massive inflation costs we have faced as well as continuing to be London living wage or higher paying employer even though our business is in the Midlands.
Each year we have cost increases from our suppliers one of which is our courier partner DPD, this is also an effect of the national insurance increase for employers which we are preparing for. Rather than reduce employee numbers or increase prices to you we have made the decision to put in operational efficiency instead with a structure of delivery days allowing us to use DPD less and use our own vans and drivers.
This means that for your specific area we are offering 2 days a week Wednesday and Friday for free delivery over £100 which is still a fantastic service. We are still offering DPD delivery outside of those days at a delivery charge which is still very low compared to the industry as well as next day delivery order by 9pm. The delivery options are there if you need them still and we are the only supplier in the UK to offer order by 9pm for next day delivery.
Most customers have been very positive in the feedback as it has offered structure and is more likely to be delivered on our own vans which gives a far better service than DPD.
I hope you understand we want to mitigate giving price increases to customers and hope that customers would work with us to achieve that goal.
We are a family run company and only wish for our customers to thrive. I do apologise you weren’t notified, we sampled a section of customers in a survey and the feedback was that the new checkout options were explanatory enough which is why we didn’t do a mass email I will feed this back to marketing for consideration.
