This was an amazing experience, loved every second even through the challenges. Working on improving the environment and volunteering at the park where so rewarding but also the workshops carried out as a team where great to experience the culture.

The whole trip was an amazing experience, something I’ll never forget. The guides provided were so lovely and made us feel right at home in a completely foreign country.

This was unquestionably one of the most amazing experiences in my life and has definitely given me a different perspective to how I look at the world and myself today. I truely loved experiencing a different culture, eating the food, learning about the history of Cambodia and most importantly, I loved meeting the children that we taught in schools. The two weeks we spent in Cambodia doesn’t seem like a long time, but it was long enough to form a special bond with the children and discover all of their unique personalities (I didn’t expect it to be so hard to say good bye on the last day). Though I’m sad that it’s over, I’m happy I got the opportunity to participate in this programme and I definitely encourage others to do so too as it’s an experience you will never forget.

Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I volunteered in the Nepal hub which had a stunning guest house completed with caring and positive staff members who were always there for support. The surrounding nature was incredibly beautiful and getting accustomed to the Nepali culture was not difficult since the exposure was apt- from the welcome meal that was held for us to the local community we felt at one with the community. Challenges abroad were so helpful with any queries that we had at any point along our volunteering process so i would definitely recommend!

This was such an amazing experience that changed how I look at the world and taught me more about what it means to be a global citizen. It also made me realise how much I want to travel in the future. I loved experiencing new cultures and seeing new plants, animals and buildings. I have made some great friendships with people from my college and also people in Thailand. I would love to participate in another programme in the future.

I had a brilliant time in Nepal. I was given the opportunity to experience all corners of Nepali culture including the food, the clothes and the toilets. I really enjoyed myself and I would highly recommend Challenges Abroad.

Challenges abroad provided me with a great life changing experience. Exploring the Cambodian culture while living in a much different lifestyle and environment definitely push me out of my comfort zone however it has caused me to develop key skills and a very open mind set. I believe I've change, for the better, a lot since returning home from this trip. I've become more motivated and enthusiastic towards life and feel more open minded to any situation.

At the start of the trip i thought the time was going slow however, after getting adapt to the ambient the time went soo fast that the last day made me emotional. I wanted to be a little longer to gain more experience and get attached to students as their 'teacher'. Some student also called me teacher and made me understand that they actually listened on what we Taught them, which made me proud.

I can only say good things. The guest house was beautiful with an amazing view and great facilities. The owners/workers of the guest house were so compassionate. The food was also out of this world, some of the greatest food I've ever had. The leaders of the trip were so kind and humble, an inspiration to me and what I would like to when I'm older. I cannot thank everyone who helped enough for making this trip an incredible experience which will stick with me forever

Once in a lifetime opportunity to go on a trip to help those children who need it, on a funded trip. An all round amazing experience!
