Custom service
I would like to thank Cara Hedrick for being so curious and polite, it's nice when you actually get to talk to a person instead of a machine. Cara and her general manager ratify the situation and I am very pleased with the service I received. More companies should hire people like this. Customer service is number one, and somehow companies have forgotten that. when I'm at car show believe me, I'll be telling them about your radiator and the service i reserved. Again. I would like to thank Cara and her general manager for being so understanding this is a good company to deal with .
They don't fit when advertising direct fit
Purchased the radiator as a direct fit and its 2" taller then the stock radiator. Attempted to return but never received any response. Talk to a couple car guy at a car show, one guy said he had the same problem. Total waste of time.
Never again
I bought a Champion 4 row radiator to replace a factory 4 row radiator in a '69 big block Corvette. It was supposed to be a "factory replacement" radiator. Yeah, right. I had to modify all 4 mounting brackets (2 upper, 2 lower). I emailed them to see if they sold a mount that actually fits their radiator, but never heard anything. I bought their fan shroud and dual fans, as well. The passenger side fan fit fine, but I had to modify the driver side fan guard to clear the a-arm. Now the lower radiator hose won't fit. Good thing it's a 4 speed car, the damn transmission lines would never be able to be connected. I'm just hoping the damn thing don't leak.
Second leaky Champion radiator
Bought a Champion for my truck in 2020. Within 4 months, it leaked. They sent me a replacement without hesitation. Call that what you want- customer service or perhaps a company all-too-ready to replace at no charge since they know the crap they are selling? Anyway, the replacement didn't leak. Until now, 4 1/2yrs later. Maybe 25,000miles if I'm lucky. These things are well-dressed garbage.
I ordered an inline radiator filter…
I ordered an inline radiator filter through ebay. The fed ex driver delivered tge filter to the wrong apt. Tried to get a refund, and you guys said it was delivered. I tried reaching out to you guys but didn't get a response. I see why you guys ratings are low.
240Z Champion Radiator
Bought champion radiator for my 240z last Nov. 2019. Now at around 2k miles (Dec. 2023) starting to leak. They dont want to warranty it because I used toyota red coolant. My koyo radiator doesnt leak by using the same coolant and most radiators are made of aluminum with plastic tank. Champion cooling say koyo might be using different kind of aluminum. Cheap radiator and poor quality. Beware.
Poorly manufactured radiators
Bought a Champion radiator through Classic Industries a little over a year ago. Recently it started to leak where the cooling tubes are connected to the tank. Sent it back to Classic Ind. and they shipped me a new one. The new one was pitted and poorly polished. Classic Ind. said the other two in stock had the same issues. Champion radiators will not help me because I bought it through a third party. So much for their religious BS and customer satisfaction. It's been over two months and I'm still waiting for my refund from Classic Ind. These radiator are junk. I advise not to buy one. When I contacted Champion the man that answered the phone was rude. The lady I talked to made all kinds of excuses for the poor polishing saying that it was a "factory" polish and not a "showcar" polish. Either polish it right or don't polish it.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPNAY
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPNAY, THEY IGNORE WARRENTY CLAIMS, AND ARE RUDE, IGNORANT A-HOLES TOWARDS CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE A WARENTY ISSUE.
i purchased a radiator from this company for a custom Street-Rod i was finishing. there is a limited lifetime warranty, within a very short time it started to leak, and it was obvious the welding was substandard and broke, and could be seen visually where the tubing enters the tank. i wrote the company offering pictures and asking what the next step was to take. i didn't hear anything, so after a week i called and no answer so i left a message. again no response, so when i wrote again stating i would file a complaint with the BBB and share my experience about this company avoiding warranty claims, when i go to swap meets and shows. i was contacted within 4-hours and was told to chill out and to keep calling the phone number until someone would answer.
a total avoidance of the warranty issue, either of my two questions left in the phone message, and in my original written request were ignored and i was told to keep calling until someone answered. how assinine. to request a customer to continue to take actions that were shown in the past to be unsuccessful. we all know the generic definition of insanity.
i would not use this companies products if they were free because it takes labor to replace junk.

On 11/9/21 I finalized an order by paying over $374 for a radiator in advance. It was to fit a 1993 Chevy 6.5 turbo diesel pickup.
They said I needed a modification by adding a filler bung and cap. Fine; I paid for it, no questions asked.
They lied about the shipment by saying it had been shipped. I checked with the shipping company and they knew nothing about it.
Next they lied by saying that the package was out in the shipper's container awaiting pickup.
Next they lied by saying it was still at the mod shop and that everyone had covid. (They conveniently failed to mention that when I placed my ordered.)
When I complained about it, the sales manager called me a dick.
After almost exactly two months, I just received the radiator yesterday and it does not have the low coolant sensor port. You'd think they knew what fits the pickup.
Now I've paid a premium price for a sub-standard product, and I will still have to get someone to tap a hole for the sensor.
Their cute little religious stickers on the shipping box and emails are clearly there just for the sucker appeal.
All I can do is warn people about these wolves in sheep's clothing.
radiator size
have a 55 chevy. ordered a radiator for 55 diagrams say 23.5 inches wide well it comes 23.75 inches wide so will not fit in 23.5 inch hole.. they said just return it for money back after waiting 2 weeks said they will all be the same width so I have to pay to send it back
80-84 Ford truck Champion radiator-
80-84 Ford truck Champion radiator-
I installed the radiator last summer in my truck, about 4 months and only 2000 miles ago. It worked awesome from day one, took care of my cooling problems and then some. Very nice looking item. But now- it has sprung a LEAK in one of the tubes. All off the bad reviews I read online before buying this radiator......are now echoing in my head. Let's see how Champion rectifies my situation. Stay tuned.
Wish I could rate them lower
Wish I could rate them lower, on radiator number 3. Product looks grate but it's a complete pice of junk. They are refunding some of my money but they won't cover shipping or the lose of time and coolant.
I spent some time redoing my cooling…
I spent some time redoing my cooling system on my 1978 f250 ranger. I finally decided to go with a champion radiator. I purchased it thru Jegs. Model number AE 433. I decided to shoot a video just incase anything was damaged. So diappointed. One of the mounting brackets on the bottom driver side was bent starting at where the second bolt mounts to the chassis. I called jegs they asked if i wanted to talk to mechanic I said sure. He said it wouldnt effect it. So I went ahead and installed. But now im left worried that I had put a bolt thru a bent bracket which in return is putting force on the weld towards the core. It may hold forever or it may break. Point is I feel like I was sold a returned part b/c of the bent bracket and surface scratches at mounting holes. I didnt just want a cheap rad i wanted the best. Now im wandering if i should just bought a cheap plaatic one.
Looks good and doesn’t leak but after…
Looks good and doesn’t leak but after about 3000 miles the mounting bracket welds broke so I had it repaired and 2 years later it broke beside the fixed weld anyways it’s for a Jeep Wrangler and they mount on both sides of the radiator support. So I’m gonna say whoever welded them sucks and can’t weld and the other half of the bracket beside the rewelded spot is a cheap crappy peice of aluminum! I called them direct and they say I need proof of purchase so I called PayPal the safe internet way to pay and they are all a bunch of FLUCKTARDS there cause they can’t find the original date of purchase so I have no proof of purchase! Now I have to have the mount rewelded in another spot again! Most company’s that have a lifetime warranty doesn’t give you this much CRAP! And they say they want to keep customers happy??? Well I’m not happy and I’ll never buy anything with the champion name on it ever again! GOOD JOB CHAMPION WAY TO KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY! NOT! FLUCKTARDS!

Resposta da Champion Cooling Systems
Great experience
Radiator was sold at a great price, shipped fast, looks to be nice quality (less the cheap radiator cap that it came with - but not a big deal.)
Radiator is mounted in car but wont be fired until after the winter. So wont be able to rate it's performance for some time, but I'd buy another one just based on the quality.
Great Quality
Great Quality Radiator and Electric Fan Cooling System for my Resto-Mod.
Absolutely a great product
This product fit perfectly and performed as it is advertized. If you have a classic Mustang with Air Conditioning you need this radiator
3 row radiator 1966 Chevy C10
A snap to install, fit like a glove looks great. Have not used truck that much but expect nothing but good based on other reviews
My Experience buying "Champion Radiator's"
In the past few year's, I've purchased Champion radiator's and support cooling item's. I've been building street rod's and gasser's for customer's for the last 47 year's. Purchased a number of cooling product's from many other dealer's in the past. At Champion, they know and provide the right radiator and a pleasure to deal with. If your considering a Champion radiator for your build, consider this "Not One" radiator failed. From 350 hp up to 1500hp. motor's since I started using their product's.. Champion radiators perform as stated in their ad's. The quality and workmanship are top shelf. You can't buy a better radiator for the money your going to purchase from "Champion".
