I absolutely hate the channel 5 news for promoting the fact that countries have stopped the Eurovision song contest just because of Israel what a lot of rubbish and what a bunch of idiots if you don't support Israel then you obviously support the western Civilization

Such a shame Chanel 5 has good content but dreadful viewing.Constantly buffering or freezing then blames the viewing card never have this with any other channel.Please get your act together or just close the channel completely.Such a frustrating watch

Very poor service, unstable, picture freezing multiple times during one programme. Very poor quality pictures. Excellent series are completely spoiled by this extremely poor quality and service.

Disappointed that they’ve got rid of the Sunday NFL gameshow this year, it was a fun way to get family into the sport and our household had a good time with it every week.

What a waste of time! Trying to watch a programme (which has extensive ads), and then the picture loses focus or worse freezes altogether. No other streaming service I use (through Sky) does this. Very disappointing.

Their website is absolute dog shite every time you go onto the app apps to Channel 5 there is always a problem with one of their shows namely Home and Away in the morning always either freezes or today says error code I need to start actually having a IT team that can actually work there systems and it’s not just a one off incident it happens every day there is a problem

07/09/2026 Police Interceptors repeating the same clip four times. Shockingly bad.

A dysfunctional network run by brain dead muppets. Just watched an episode of Police Interceptors. Halfway through the programme they then completely repeated what they'd already shown. One incident was repeated 3 times. Completely shambolic.

Shit company can’t send an email to reset password🙃 2026 this is.

Looks like C5 has some programs worth watching but forcing me through up to 10 ads (taking up to 3-4 minutes) at a time every 7-10 minutes has totally put me off trying their stuff.

I was enjoying watching the Tour of Spain cycling higjlights (Vuelta) on Channel 5. Despite the advertised schedule this evening they were showing snooker for morons.

Great dramas but the constant adds drive me nuts so don’t watch often

It’s not even one star. In this day and age why can an app be so bad and why haven’t Chanel 5 addressed the issue? It’s dreadful and virtually unusable.

Too often it crashes after the adverts making you start watching the adverts again instead of returning you to were it crashed.

Absolutely shocking amount of advertising every few minutes. I won't be watching this channel again. Sort out your advertising repetitiveness.

Very, very frustrating.

If I could give it 0 starts I would. The app freezes, skips, the picture quality is poor. The ads have the volume turned up to "shrieking". With all the bad reviews, when will you sort it?

Why does this review not allow zero stars?
The app is rubbish, everybody knows this. Why not take this Chanel off the air?

Well after complaining about Channel 5's coverage of the Commonwealth Games - I found that S4C were showing the full live games - welsh commentary of course but who needs commentary anyway.
