If I could give 0 stars, I would. Shoes were meant to be suede and were synthetic. The photo on the website did not even remotely resemble the item that arrived directly from China. I tried to get a full refund as goods misdescribed. I think the email response was a standard letter the company use for all complaints. Finally £7.50 back on a £30 purchase which was the best they would offer unless I returned the package to China. NEVER buy from Chaps of London! Awful quality, a complete rip off!

sellers of over priced imported chinese tat, absolute rubbish. dont know why they bother sizeing items nothing fits, pictures on the web site are not the same as the products. try getting your money back impossible

Can't justify 1star but it had to be to move on.
Over 3 weeks from ordering to delivery as they hold no stock and order from China( ( you would be better going direct to Wish) contact number is a French number and their attitude to customer complaints is politically to ignore what you say. I've been demanding a refund since before it left China and when a house guest stupidly accepted it from the posty I had to accept it was delivered. I requested refund and return instructions and got a n offer of 20% due to the cost of delivery to a foreign country. I'm stubborn enough to return it for the cost just to take the money off the dodgy b-stards. London is a con they hold no stock and if I had opened the package in sure it would be sub quality like all the other reviews. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ITS A SCAM

Absolute bloody joke, ordered smart chino trousers, 3 weeks later I receive some very poor quality thin silky clown trousers. Can see my meat and veg through them they are that thin of a material haha, straight in the bin. Geezers need a good kickin’, Robbin mugs.

This has been one of the most frustrating and dishonest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered what was advertised as a linen shirt, but received a cheap polyester/cotton blend instead — a clear case of misrepresentation.

After contacting the company, I was met with delay tactics, vague promises, and outright dishonesty. I made it very clear that I would only accept a full refund, which they eventually agreed to by a specific date — and then failed to follow through. No refund. No confirmation. Just more stalling.

Worse still, the item was shipped from China and took 16 days to arrive, despite the website promising 3-day UK delivery. This was never disclosed at the point of purchase.

After looking into their reviews, it’s clear I’m not alone — many customers have reported the same pattern of false advertising, misleading communication, and unfulfilled refunds.

This company operates in a highly unethical manner and appears to intentionally mislead its customers. I’ve now had to escalate the matter to PayPal and Trading Standards.

Avoid Chaps of London at all costs. Do not trust the claims on their website — they are not what they seem.

Like other customers i would have given this company a zero. The item i bought was the wrong size, the material was cheap and the design was totally different from what is on their website. I have sent my item back to their address in London, and was advised that i would need to send it overseas. No chance you are based in London according to your business address in Companies House. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE BUYING CHEAP CLOTHING ANS SELLING IT ON IT IS FAKE. ITS TIME TO GO TO COURT.

I would give 0 stars of if I could. Worst service ever, item is terrible quality. Basically going round and round dealing with a return and refund.

Horrendous fake company, terrible quality wrong size product not worth the bag that they came in. Can’t return either unless you want to fork out sending bits to China.

Please read reviews before ordering from these scammers!
Ordered a grey suit and they sent an awful quality light blue suit. When I informed them and sent pictures, I was told it was the correct colour and it's to do with the pixels in my phone lol! Laughable!
They are based in China not London as stated, so you aren't guaranteed your returns would arrive within the 2 weeks period anyway.
Ended up in a back and fourth for weeks and managed to get 40% of my refund which they made out was a special offer!
What I'm more annoyed about is I've had to give these a 1 start which is more than they're worth!

The shoes I ordered were not as advertised. Cheap crap and I paid £30 for them. This company are con artists. It's a Chinese address to return the items. Not a UK based company. Annoyed I fell for it!

Do not risk buying from here. Items are shipped from China and of poor quality. If you need to return an item they will make it difficult and try to offer you various bs options. It will cost you price of the clothing to get a refund. You have been warned!

Absolutely dreadful quality of shoes sent pictures and email after email offered 75% discount code off crap or 15% discount off shoes which I would never ever wear but said they don’t refund AVOID

Where to start,I wish Id read the reviews before hand,the shoes arrived nothing like the picture, colour completely different quality was shocking. Had to contact through email to get returns address which states it's a UK one but when you finally do get it it's a china address which once sent back will probably cost .ore than the shoes , was offered a discount on 15% and told I could keep the shoes but I didn't think it was acceptable for the poor quality of shoes I was sent, please avoid company at all costs

Customer service seems to be AI as keeps repeating same thing.

Absolute rip off . Do not order anything from this dreadful company . Crap clothing , crap customer service and a crap choice by myself. How a company can say their address is in london but return your crap to China is beyond me . My mistake , so don't order anything from them .

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE - CHAPS OF LONDON IS CRAP, IT SHOULD SAY CHAPS OF CHINA. I fell for it and didn’t investigate trust pilot. As soon as I saw the items were coming from CHINA NOT LONDON I tried to cancel the order but you only have 15 minutes to do that. Items took ages to arrive and although I was in touch with their so called customer services, all I was offered was a voucher and discount off my next purchase, as if there would be another purchase. I went to the post office to return the trousers (I couldn’t return boxer shorts that wouldn’t have fitted my 14 year old son, let alone a grown adult, so I didn’t even try them on, but due to hygiene im unable to return. Anyway, the trousers (or shorts on me) would cost about £35 to return
I will try to contact the credit card company to see if they can help, but won’t buy online again
