We did a 6 night BVI on Evenstar boat with 2 adults and 3 kids. It was the best vacation! Captain Tim and Zara were amazing. They were totally flexible regarding itinerary and menu and took us to some of the most beautiful coves and beaches. The water toys were also super fun. I would highly recommend this boat and crew for any charter vacation.

Our week aboard Livin was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Every day brought something new—from secluded coves and beautiful harbors to incredible caves, snorkeling, and hiking. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, but also flexible enough to make the most of each day and discover some truly special places throughout the British Virgin Islands.

The food was exceptional. Every meal was beautifully prepared, varied, and clearly planned with a tremendous amount of care.

What really made the trip special, though, was the crew. Their knowledge of the islands, attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made everything feel effortless. We were able to completely relax and enjoy an unforgettable week with family.

Livin was the perfect setting for an amazing week in the BVI. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable charter.

Our experience with this charter was absolutely unforgettable. For my husband's 50th birthday, we spent eight days cruising the Exumas with three other couples, and it exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless. Emily with Charter Smarter made everything easy, communicated clearly, and handled every detail so we could simply look forward to the trip. Captain Trevor was exceptional! His knowledge of the Exumas was unmatched, and he always seemed to know exactly where to take us. He got us into the popular spots before the crowds arrived and found secluded anchorages and beaches that felt like they were ours alone. Every day was perfectly planned, yet relaxed, and we always felt completely safe and well taken care of. Chef Sarah was equally incredible! I still can't believe the meals she created from a galley kitchen. Every dish was restaurant quality, beautifully presented, and somehow better than the last. She even surprised my husband with birthday banners, balloons and a homemade chocolate birthday cake that was absolutely delicious and made his milestone birthday even more special. Beyond their talent and professionalism, getting to know Trevor and Sarah was one of the highlights of the trip. By the end of the week, they felt like friends rather than crew. Their warmth, personalities, and genuine care for making our trip unforgettable made all the difference. It was THE BEST vacation we've ever taken, and we can't wait to do it again!

What a trip. Myself and 2 friends all turned 60 this summer and we wanted to do something special and different from typical vacation. We ended up using Charter Smarter to rent a catamaran for a week in the BVI. Trip of my life. The boat was incredible. The food and drink and crew were amazing Charter Smarter made the booking process incredibly easy. I can’t wait to do it again.

Tipper was super responsive and so easy to work with! She made everything very smooth. Our cruise was incredible—the food masterfully prepared by chef Adriane was the best I’ve had on any vacation, Captain Bryan was a great combination of fun and safety conscious! He made sure we had the best mooring spot every day and made our cruise dreams come true! I would definitely use Charter Smarter when we decide on a new destination! Would love to see Greece as an option!

We are just in the beginning of planning our adventure through CharterSmarter (which takes place next year) and we are already impressed with the company and in particular, Kristi. Absolutely easy to work with in the booking process. Patience and considerations were great. She figured out what we would be looking for in both boat and crew. This is just the beginning and will certainly look forward to the final planning. And the adventure!

Overall, this was hands down the best family vacation we have ever taken. Every day offered something for everyone, and there was never a moment where we wished we were doing something different. The boat was fantastic, the crew was exceptional, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
From the very beginning, the planning process was outstanding. Working with you, our travel agent, and Captain before the trip made us feel completely prepared. Every question was answered quickly, every detail was covered, and when we arrived, the crew already knew exactly what we needed. It made the start of the trip completely stress-free.
The travel logistics were seamless. Choosing the private water taxi instead of the ferry was absolutely worth it. Skipping the ferry and moving through customs so efficiently probably gave us an extra day of vacation. We were on the yacht by early afternoon, settled in, and enjoying our first day was awesome.
The yacht was exactly what we expected. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and had plenty of room for our family.
Captain and the Chef were simply incredible. The itinerary was outstanding and balanced adventure with relaxation perfectly. The Chef was equally amazing. Every meal was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Honestly, there were many times we preferred staying on the boat rather than eating anywhere else because her food was that good. Beyond her talent as a chef, she was warm, kind, accommodating, and an absolute joy to spend the week with.
Every excursion was worth it. The snorkeling was some of the best we have ever experienced, and each stop offered something unique. The Captian did an outstanding job of putting together an itinerary that kept everyone engaged while still allowing plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the islands.

We immediately felt welcome and comfortable with Mitch and Emma - great captain and first mate!
They are good natured and accommodating, helping us to make the most of every day.
We felt safe and confident in their abilities and soon felt we were one big family.
Our two youngest, ages 5 and 7, took to Mitch and Emma very quickly - as did Mitch and Emma to them, who included them in their daily activities. In fact, the kids would have quite happily stayed behind when we went home! Ha!
Emma prepared our wonderful meals and accommodated our picky eaters with much grace.
Mitch is a highly competent captain and we could not have asked for better hosts.
For our family (who are well traveled) all agree this was one of our very best trips ever.

Micheale is/was patient with all my questions. She provided various options, suggestions and more patience. If my trip is as comfortable & informative as the start of this process we are in great hands!

Charter Smarter made the process of chartering our vacation extremely smooth. As the organizer of our trip, it was so nice to pass off the coordination of four couples to a company who individually contracted with each of us. We had a situation arise where one couple was not able to come on the trip and they easily converted our group from 8 to 6, and even passed along some savings to us even though it was last minute. Great communication from start to finish! Highly recommend!

We had the best family vacation in the BVI’s! The snorkeling was amazing and we loved exploring each island. Hank and Brenda made our trip even more special and truly went out of their way to make sure everyone had a vacation to remember forever. We will definitely be back!

Our 5 days on the Sisu were wonderful! Frik and Petro made the trip so relaxing, fun, and memorable from start to finish. The hospitality, food, and attention to detail were outstanding, and we felt completely taken care of. We left with amazing memories and hope to sail again.

We booked an all-inclusive crewed charter catamaran vacation with Emily at Charter Smarter and it was nothing short of amazing! She and her entire team were top notch. They worked with our budget and offered us options based on our personalized preferences. I highly recommend Charter Smarter...they know everything there is to know about the world of chartering. Most of our questions were answered before we ever asked them...what to expect, what to pack, taxi or ferry services, how the tipping works, and everything in between. There were no hidden costs and all expectations were made clear. Emily checked in with us before, during, and after the trip.
The trip itself exceeded our expectations...and they were high! We ended up choosing Makin' Memories and had the BEST vacation of our lives. The crew Jim and Courtney were wonderful. Experienced, safe, hospitable, caring, and fun. The food and drinks were excellent and Yeti cups and koozies were provided for each guest. The catamaran was super clean, well stocked, and very well cared for. The outdoor space is one of the reasons we chose it and it was perfect for us with lots of seating and plenty of fun water toys and nice snorkeling gear. This was truly the most relaxing and easy vacation ever where everything is just handled for you. Book It Already!

A complete dream vacation from beginning to end!! I believe this was my 7th sailing trip with Charter Smarter, and it was just as wonderful as the first 6!! The service is always exceptionally professional and catered to how formal or casual your group is starting with Kristi M. She walked us through everything needed prior to boarding and made sure all the boxes were checked. Just the sweetest person ever! I can’t speak highly enough about her! This was our first charter with Captain Brandon and Chef Beata but hopefully not the last. They ensured we had the best time possible with delicious food and drinks and top notch snorkeling and The Baths hike and Anegada beaches! All the while taking beautiful pictures to share with us and keeping us safe and maintaining the vessel. The effort it takes to juggle all of that is tremendous, and we appreciated how effortless they made it seem! There really is no other trip like it! It is my happy place, and I will always go back and will always use CharterSmarter.

We worked with Emily at Charter Smarter and she was amazing. She helped make our first sailing adventure special for our family. We can't wait for our next adventure.
