Hallmarks of a sophisticated Scam
We came across CheapTicketsDeal because they were showing flights at much cheaper prices than anywhere else. During the chat, the rep started “negotiating” with us — saying things like “the airline charges £180 but I’ll give it to you for £120”. Immediately this felt suspicious.
Before committing, we checked reviews elsewhere (Tripadvisor and other sites) and saw plenty of cautionary tales. Despite their 4.8 rating here, the patterns were concerning.
We still decided to test the process and entered my partner’s details. That’s when the pressure started: they became pushy, and when we refused to proceed, they began bombarding my partner’s phone — 4 calls in 20 minutes, plus texts, emails, even voice notes. The calls sounded like a random call center overseas. No legitimate travel business operates like this.
We backed out completely, and I would strongly advise others to do the same. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

We understand the importance of checking multiple review sites before booking. While we're proud of our Trustpilot rating, we recognize that some reviews elsewhere may raise concerns. Many issues stem from incomplete interactions or misunderstandings, but we take all feedbacks seriously and use it to improve.
Upon reviewing our records, we did not find a confirmed booking under your name. However, we did locate a chat conversation in which you inquired about luggage allowances. In that exchange, our agent explained the option to pre-purchase baggage at a discounted rate—available only once a booking is finalized.
When we didn’t hear back from you over the chat, our team followed up via phone and email to ensure you had all the information needed to proceed, should you choose to do so. These follow-ups were intended to assist—not pressure—and we apologize if they came across otherwise.
We’re always happy to clarify any concerns and hope to have the chance to serve you in the future under more favorable circumstances.
