First time ordering and we were so impressed! Delivered on time, very well packed and absolutely delicious food! Will be ordering again.

Very nice! Lamb was beautiful! So soft and no fat in it! I bought 4 items and they were all very nice..will be ordering again soon but my freezer is full at the moment. They are a bit pricy but so are normal take aways. At least you know whats in it and its not Halal meat! Good delivery too!

Excellent curries and biriyanis, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Food arrives frozen and takes just minutes to cook.

I am a huge fan of Chef Akila’s curries! We have had 4 of them so far and they all taste amazingly wonderful!!! We are definitely ordering again and again!

Portion sizes are small and quite expensive although I don’t mind paying for good food but definitely not enough for two adults

The package came still intact and frozen.
We enjoyed all the meals and the fact that they can be done in the oven aswell as the microwave is so much better when you are doing more than one dish.
I highly recommend these meals the taste of all the dishes were lovely.
You can taste the depth of the spices nothing overly seasoned.

I was attracted to Chef Akita’s food due to being coeliac. Curry’s are very tasteful and so easy to have it all cooked and all very good portions. Packaging is excellent, food quality is amazing. Even buying the curry sauces are amazing. I have been taught to makes Sri Lankan curries from scratch with all fresh ingredients. I appreciate the work that goes into making a proper curry. I look forward to receiving my second order , mst make room in the freezer. Thank you love your food. There will be a 3rd order as well. Again thank you.

Amazing meals! Proper home cooked natural food yet so convenient. I order every month, especially the deli butter chicken, that’s our favourite.

I love having 'better tasting curries than a takeaway' ready to go in my freezer at all times.
Easy to order - loyalty points can be collected & saves you money & delivery is always on time & its great because it comes frozen & stays frozen with the internal packaging if I can't unpack straight away.

Sadly after being a loyal customer and achieving Gold status my latest delivery has failed.... the reason they are no longer using DPD but have switched to DHL/Evri. And guess what failed delivery and lies about attempted delivery after already being notified that delivery was delayed till next working day due to an issue with the courier. Contacted DHL/Evri and status was quickly changed to being delivered followed by delivery failed due to unable to access property which is a total lie. We were home all day and see delivery drivers come and go....Evri being the worst and constantly leaving parcels in random locations.... what's the common denominator..... Evri. Will no longer be ordering from Chef Akila sadly if they continue using DHL Evri. Great food too

All the food was good and we bought it because the family were coming and we are not well enough at the moment to cook. It also helps us decide on some things for just the two of us for our next order.

It's very authentic and delicious food, and knowing that it's made with healthy ingredients makes it even better.

Food is always excellent.
There was a mistake on my last delivery and it was sorted out immediately after I reported it. Mistakes happen. It's how a company deals with it afterwards that is important. This was quick and efficient.

Quality of food was excellent. Full of flavour. Reasonable priced.

I can honestly say these are the best curries I have ever tasted... even better than any local restaurants i have been to... I am not one for very hot curries... I just love the different spices and flavours... the rice dishes are to die for... not seen any nan bread on their website... YET
I have recommend this website to several friends... I find it a considered purchase... Will definitely be ordering again... this is a 10* plus service

Scrummy but single portions would be welcome.

I ordered and food was delivered with 48 hours as quoted, packaging was excellent and kept food frozen whilst I was still at work.
Food flavours are as described and delicious, great value for money, will be ordering again.
My order had mains, starters and sides and all were very flavoursome, highly recommend.
