Site is offline more than on, never known a site be so woefully mismanaged which is a pity as enjoyed playing when accessible. The one thing they are exceptional at is censoring any, and I do mean any, criticism of their numerous down times .......

They offer no guarantees of any kind. They censor criticism (I do not use harsh language). Clunky interface, clunky video/board interface. Purchased videos can't be downloaded but only viewed online. Website responds slow due to many scripts running in the background.

Three stars because of fast customer service response per e-mail and they refunded my money fast as well because I was not satisfied about a video I purchased.

Not sure how or if this woeful platform is still operating as it seems to spend more time offline than on. Pity as I quite enjoyed when in operation but you can't support the incompetence of their IT dept indefinitely!

Be wery careful! You cant cancel your subscription on this site very easily, you have to send email at least 2 weaks in ahead and hope they cancel it for you.

The quality of theirs videos is mostly poor, there are just a few exceptions, probably not worth a year of subscription.

Chessable is chess24's opening trainer.

Their chessable disrespect privacy. They collect ip address, payment info and any custom repertoire that you use for your own use. There's a reason no grandmaster in chess uses chessable.

What happened was I scheduled one account for deletion. And I started a new account in february this year and in march i typed in their forum that I thought someone was genuinely rude by typing 900 words without spacing. So I get an email of them saying they deleted my accounts and called them fake and that i'm trolling (I was not) on at least (key word) 1 account and they won't be restored. No where in their terms of service say you are not allowed to make additional accounts. Their emails are unprofessional, they're not to the account they take action against, they couldn't even follow a template, couldn't reply to me if i'm allowed to make more than one account, couldn't reply to me if i'm allowed to make a new account, and reply from different emails trying to do a gotcha, watch some of their unlisted youtube videos to realise they're a stay at home urban trendies with no experience.

Chess 24 website is clunky and a for-profit sham. The videos and tactics are all you get for the subscription. Nothing you could get at chesstempo for a fraction of the cost yearly.

I'm going to tell you something, after searching through many chess sites and online chess playing sites I found the BEST chess sites and engines are the free ones. Lichess all the way. Easy to navigate and community built. Another is chess tempo. Superb tactics and way better than chess24. But ultimately lichess tops my list. Chess.com is ran by Dannys Ai bots. Chess24 is just another way for Magnus to pay for his outrageously expensive yoga classes and his kale ginger lemon shakes. The site is so underused they only let you select certain time frame matches in order to not have massive wait times. They average 1/4th to 1/8th of active players on lichess. about 11k players with about 755 active games. They make you email staff directly and they require 2 weeks to cancel your subscription. IMHO chess 24 is a cheap start up site thrown together after magnus became world champion and it is nothing more than an obese cash cow that has cheap quickly made user interface.

I can't believe people are paying hundreds of dollars for yearly subscriptions for that trash. Bait hook line and sink. That 8.99 deal was no deal at all. I shall return to chess where I plan to retire. I will say the chessable courses got me but even those are overrated hogwash. If you are smart enough you will research openings you already play and learn all the different options. It's not rocket science. Anyways lichess or nothing. Stockfish or bust. Wesley So is the next World Champion! Stop paying to learn chess. ITs a waste in the digital age we live in. learn it for free

Lousy customer support
They don't reply to customer support emails. I tried to cancel my premium as they don't let you do it by yourself via the site; you have to send in a support ticket, or email them to cancel your premium, but they don't reply to emails or support tickets, well it's been over a week for me & no reply.
I was forced to contact my bank to put a blocker on any more money being sent to them.
Avoid these scammers & use chess.com or Lichess.

the quality of the website when playing a game is poor and glitching

another GOOD site of chess

only 2 problems :

1) game bullet , the LAG it makes itself felt , is heavy

2) the sistem ELO , 3000 vs 1400 = 1 -- 0 = 3001 1400 ( no sense )
