I was scrolling through Instagram when I came across an ad for Chicsday.com, an online women's shoe store. I purchased two pairs of sneakers via PayPal for a total of $68.92. One pair is Burgundy and the second pair is Navy blue. I waited over a month. After sending an email to inquire about the status of the package, I received one pair of sneakers on February 4th, 2021. But the label on the package stated that it was sent out as late as January 27th, 2021. I sent an email to inquire about the second pair of shoes. I was told that when there are multiple pairs within an order, they are packaged separately and that I should expect the second pair to arrive separately. I waited seven days and sent a follow up email letting them know that I still have not received the second pair of sneakers and I noticed that they closed out my order on the website, pretty much marking my order as complete. So in my follow up email, I inquired about a separate tracking number for the second pair of sneakers. They responded, " we will push your order." But did not say anything about tracking information. I waited another 7 days and received nothing. On February 23rd, I sent an email requesting a refund for the second pair of sneakers. I am currently waiting for a reply as it has been nearly two months since I've placed my order and I have not received what I paid for. The shoes that I did receive are not even the correct size. So I have to count that as a loss because I'll get charged for sending it back. This place is an obvious scam, the customer service is not helpful, the email responses are not even professionally written. Since my initial encounter with this company, I haven't seen their ads on Instagram ever again and a quick Google search yields negative reviews about the company, in general. They do not have any contact information other than the one email address.
UPDATE: MARCH 20, 2021
I filed a claim with PayPal and submitted proof ( my chain of emails to Chicsday.com and their automated reply) that I have not received what I purchased three ( almost four) months ago.
I received a refund from PayPal for the items that I did not receive.
