Exorbitant prices
I’ve been a very loyal Clarins customers for years as it’s the only product that suits my skin. Recently I went online to order my usual creams as there was a 20% discount offer. It’s important to note that the night cream had gone from £72 to £90 so without the discount I wasn’t going to buy it. I’ve recently moved so first had to update my address but was surprised when it wouldn’t accept my Scottish postcode. I emailed Clarins to check if they delivered to Scotland but by the time they responded - with an answer to a completely different question - the offer had disappeared. I emailed them again to hopefully get an answer to my question and am still waiting. I refuse to pay £190 for two pots of cream therefore bought Liz Earle products at a fraction of the price. Lost a good customer due to poor customer service and exorbitant prices. What a shame.
Over 10 business days still no refund
Ur company still has not refunded my money and it's been over 10 business days. I already contacted customer service via email and they say it might take longer then 10 business days due to a "system update". Wth does that have to do with processing my refund that I had to pay $12 shipping charges for as well as print out the return process form that I also had to fill out BY HAND bc ur company doesn't have an adequate return process in 2026 for ur customers. I sent back my return like 3 wks ago but u go off of business days only it has now been 11 business days. I also decided I wAsnt Happy with another product I ordered FROM A DIFFERENT ORDER so I again had to pay $7 shipping charge for that and do the same process all over again. Luckily I have a printer. It's going to be the same issue with the 2nd return to. That's $19 dollars in shipping charges I had to pay to return 2 products to ur company. This is exactly why I wanted my orders cancelled bc I researched everything about ur company RT AFTER placing my order. Instead u expedited my order and processed and shipped it the same day I emailed to cancel BOTH ORDERS.
Bad products
Bad products, makes you wonder if they even try them out first. Ridiculous customer service. Citing the EU consumer protection law to refuse returns, no matter what. Inexplicably expensive.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - NOT SERVING THE CUSTOMER
As a previously regular and loyal customer, after many years I made a complaint.
The product I received when held up to the light was less that a third full.
After trying to resolve with customer services and many generic replies stating the product must have been damaged in delivery. No, the packaging was intact..etc, customer service sent a message to say the case was closed.
Again, gave full details to receive the same response 3 times.
I know it won't make any difference to a company of this size, but Clarins have lost my custom..

Funds taken despite failed order!
I have been a loyal customer for years but my most recent order failed and funds were still taken. I was told it would be returned to my account within 5 business days. 9 business days later, I am still waiting. Customer service have stopped replying so I have now had to escalate this further. Such disappointing service for a brand I have held in such high regard for years.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. Phones not answered over several days. No response from emails. A month later I get an unsatisfactory response. Very poor. I can get the same products from Boots without the hassle.

Excellent customer service from Jo at Boots, Meadowhall
My partner and young daughter went to Boots at Meadowhall in Sheffield last week to buy me a Christmas gift. The wonderful Jo at the Boots Clarin counter was exceptional and helped them find the perfect gift, not only that, she added a multitude of samples, a beautiful satin headscarf and wrapped it all up in a beautiful box. My partner and daughter couldn’t praise her high enough and my daughter was so excited for me to open it up. This week, I went in to thank Jo for being such a wonderful customer service assistant and going above and beyond for my daughter. In addition, I wanted Clarins HR to know this. Many thanks Jo and Merry Christmas!
Clarins Automatically Applied Delivery Charge
I placed an order with Clarins via Apple Pay which automatically applied Express Delivery at £6.50 which I didn’t require. On contacting Clarins customer service (after waiting on hold for 10 minutes and finally requesting a call back) I explained to the advisor what had happened and asked if the charge could be removed as I didn’t require Express Delivery for this order. I was told that this was not possible once the order had been placed. I asked if the order could be cancelled so I could reorder and was told no. I asked if I could speak to a manager to see if the charge could be overridden but was told I was talking to the manager and nothing could be done. I then asked what would happen if I returned the order and was told that I would only be refunded for the order not the delivery charge. I asked if I could make a complaint and was told I could use the customer service contact form. I decided I would post a review instead so that other Clarins customers are aware and can avoid this situation.

Terrible company
Terrible company. I took me 5 emails phone calls every day to cancel my subscription.
There’s nowhere on there website that says you can cancel. There phone lines are so busy . I tried cancelling my credit cards they were still taking money out of my account until I could cancel the subscription there was nothing my bank could do.

Disappointing online customer service
I am writing this review to express my disappointment with Clarins uk online service. To start with I completed the online form relating my issue, then I heard nothing back. I sent them an email, nothing back. Long story short I tried four times to grab their attention via email, which should not have been the case, a customer trying to keep contact YOU. It is quite upsetting that I have not received an answer from such a big company as Clarins. As we speak, I still haven't received a response(and I'm not expecting one anymore) but it's really a shame to ignore emails even more to your loyal customers more than 15 years. Competition is so high out there so you have to keep up if you want to build a great rapport with your customers. By ignoring someone is not a good start.
Definitely I will move to a different brand.
