Notes: Honeydew Melon, Vanilla, Agave Nectar Description: This extraordinary coffee comes from the lush landscapes of Nicaragua (700–900m), where the H3 varietal (a cross of Caturra and an Ethiopian landrace) has thrived since its first planting in 2015. As one of the pioneering F1 hybrid varieties, H3 showcases remarkable cup quality, balanced with resilience in the field. The cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness (December–March harvest), then undergo a washed, inoculated fermentation with a carefully selected yeast culture designed to guide and enhance the flavour profile. The result is a cup that lives up to its nickname: “Pineapple Candy.” Bursting with vibrant Honeydew Melon, Vanilla and Agave Nectar this coffee is a tropical delight in every sip. Its 85.25 SCA score reflects its exceptional quality and its Rainforest Alliance certification guarantees a commitment to environmental and social sustainability. First order from Coaltown and incredibly happy. The pineapple candy has a mellow, fruity almost buttery flavour with a distinct hint of pineapple too. Easy to dial in, lovely crema and a great coffee - will absolutely order again.
