Good service but had an inconvenience in past

CodeHost.in tried its best to explain and resolve the issue. And they did manage to do this.
They have used 3rd party reseller without proper access to key controls like Domain Lock & EPP.
With an open-to-all business, you should be prepared for the worst possibilities with third parties.
Second, they tried their best and were able to retrieve the EPP for free.
Advice:
When CodeHost is the Accredited registrar for some TLDs then please use your self-registrar platform, not third parties, for full control over domains from the registry.
Original Post dated 23rd May 2025 IST :
I had registered 2 .in domains with them after checking they are listed as accredited registrar for . in domain on .IN registry.
Yesterday (22nd May 2025) I asked them for EPP codes of my domain, but they refused.
Explanation they gave: domains are registered with a third party now they are demanding 1000rs for outgoing transfer to another registrar.
It is Codehost.in's service lapse then why should I pay?
Codehost is simply showing no attachment to provide service, which is likely to be an unethical practice.

We truly understand how frustrating this situation must be, and we’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience you’ve experienced.
We’d like to clarify that this issue affects ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF DOMAINS registered through DotPe during a specific promotional campaign. As previously communicated, your domain was registered via DotPe, and it is DotPe — not CodeHost — that is refusing to provide the EPP code or unlock the domain for transfer.
At CodeHost, we often collaborate with third-party service providers to bring our customers the best deals and pricing. For example, the domain you purchased at ₹199 was offered through a special deal via DotPe — an amount significantly lower than standard pricing for .IN domains.
Unfortunately, DotPe is now charging ₹999 to release the domain, which we believe is unjust and unethical. We have escalated this issue to the relevant authorities with documented evidence, but unfortunately, no resolution has been provided yet.
As of now, the only available option is to renew the domain with DotPe directly.
Also, please note: You have agreed to this terms while making your purchase.
"By using our services, customers agree that in cases where CodeHost utilizes third-party service providers, they are also bound by the terms and policies of those third parties."

Can't get through, number always busy or unavailable.
Hard to reach customer care. Their number is always on waiting. Name server change has no time limit ... waiting for response on same after 24 hours.
I opened ticked. Got confirmation in email.
