I would leave no stars if I could

I would leave no stars if I could.
Ordered coffee and a cafetière. Did not arrive. Contacted company a week after expected delivery date and was advised it would arrive soon. Did not arrive and again no communication until chased. Contacted company and was asked to wait a little longer. Did not arrive. Contacted company and expressed concern for lack of delivery and requested a better expected timescale and some degree of refund. Company then did not reply and still no items. Sent an email requesting an immediate cancellation of the order and full refund. The company replied saying this had been done. No refund was ever issued. Opened a dispute with my bank and managed to obtain a full refund from them.
Website looks great. Everything else is dreadful and a complete waste of time. Do not recommend at all.

No delivery

Unfortunately I am still waiting for my purchase to arrive - a month after placing the order. Only when I chase do I receive any communication, and despite asking several times, still haven’t received an estimated date of delivery.

Still waiting

Ordered on 29/9/21 and told goods were dispatched on the 4/10/21. E-mailed Coffee Box on the 12th and was told there was a delay and goods would be dispatched in next 2-5 days but we are still waiting (18/10/21) and the coffee machine is needed as a birthday present. 😞

Goods never arrived. Charged my credit card when they were aware they did not have the goods in stock. Promised refund weeks ago, still waiting.

Item not delivered.

Hi, my poor review rating is due to the item- coffee filters- not arriving yet. I completed my order weeks ago. If and when they arrive I would be glad to give a more positive review.

Very disappointed

Unfortunately I have still not received my order 14 days after it was dispatched. I have chased the supplier and there response was “should be with me in next few days”
Now a few days later and still no delivery. The app to track delivery “Shop” is useless as it tells me nothing about delivery etc only telling me when I placed order.

Useless and hopeless service.

I would give no stars if I could. I ordered weeks ago. My order was marked as dispatched but never arrived. I emailed them and they told me it was being sent straight away. It never arrived.
I emailed them again and they contacted me to tell me that after over 3 weeks they have just noticed that none of my order is in stock! How can any company be so useless?
I have requested a full refund as they have basically taken my money and given me nothing in return. Avoid at all costs.
As I paid via PayPal I have raised a claim with them and have received a refund. I didn't trust the company to refund me.

I have not received my item for nearly…

I have not received my item for nearly a month and I have bee receiving the exact same response when I contact the customer service: "sorry for that, we see that your item has been shipped. It should be with you in next 2-5 days!!!!!!!!!"
Zero responsibility toward customer, zero customer service. Awful!!!

A well executed scam.

I wrote a similar review, but I realized I can click on the review invitation email from this scam company to prove I'm legit. So here you are.

Some updates:
- Also, I filed a dispute for fraud/scam to the Insolvency Service, Compliance and Targeting Investigations and Enforcement Services (against ECOMMERCE BRANDS LTD, Company number: 11310365). Someone needs to keep an eye on these scammers.
- I managed to take my money back as I paid through Paypal so I filed a dispute and escalated directly to Paypal to solve it. Don't waste your time on waiting for seller reply.

For my case:
I purchased this order 1 month ago. Then due to not receiving notification of their dispatch. I actively contacted them and they replied that it was out of stock, apologized to me and promised to notify me when it was available. A few weeks later, still no contact from them, I actively reached out again and they told me that they would send the item to me in early October, then they sent an email and text message to inform them that the goods had been sent. However, this email is fake and there is no information related to the shipping company, delivery company or any tracking references to identify it. I asked them this again and they don't reply to my emails anymore. Seeing them trying to avoid me, I read their reviews on Trustpilot and realized that many people have been scammed by this company in the same way (I have sent a few photos as proof). This company deceives others by letting customers buy goods even though they don't have them in stock, then pretending to have sent the goods and disappear. Customers are almost impossible to contact anymore. If customers call or email, they all get an answer that the item is not available and are asked to wait, then the company disappears, no longer answering them.

Nothing received - need to recover costs from cc company

Like many others. I placed an order which never arrived after being told for months that ‘it will be shipped within a week sorry for the delay etc’.

I did receive one order from this company which leads me to believe some of the other reviews that this is a scammy company which lures you in with one order to gain trust and then steals your money with future orders.

Hoping they get shut down soon - I still receive marketing emails trying to sell me stuff, which is deeply worrying.

Coffee-box. A well executed scam

The scam is that many items listed aren’t in stock. This happened to me. Luckily I did get a refund, although it took 3 months to receive and I sent many, many emails. I can make a educated guess that a lot of customers don’t push that hard for a refund resulting in the business pocketing cash for goods not delivered. The end result is theft. Will James Wright is the business owner and operates another scammy online business named ‘not in the dog house’. The online businesses do successfully fulfill some orders. Cash is spent on retargetting Ads and sponcered social ads - which on the surface give the stores a level of trust. This is key to why they’ve been getting away with it for so long, as it gives customers a sense of trust. Regardless of how polished, well executed your Ecomm platforms run and look. Money is still being stolen and the customer experience is non-existent. Embarrassing.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I placed an order for a cup and saucer back in August. Every time I contact them they apologise and say the order will be with me the next day. They ignore all requests for a refund.

Poor experience

I am sorry to say that I have had a very poor experience with this company. Despite being told that the item I had ordered in August had been dispatched I have not received it. I have been patient as requested and subsequently requested a refund when the item still was not delivered. Eventually I was told that a refund had been processed but that also never materialised. After 2 months of emailing, I was offered a credit plus £10 for my trouble. I reiterated that I wanted a refund and I have not had a reply. I cannot recommend this company.

I bought something for my brother’s…

I bought something for my brother’s 40th, but it still hasn’t arrived. I had an email saying it had been dispatched 10 days ago but has not shown up. I have emailed, called and left a message and have not had a reply. Would be nice to at least have a refund so I can actually buy my brother a present!

Delivery overdue

I ordered an item 27th Sept. It was shipped 4th Oct and I’m still waiting for delivery. It is now 14th Oct, we’ll beyond the up to 5 days delivery stated on website.

At this point in time it's a one star

At this point in time it's a one star. I placed an order on 28th September for an item that was showing as 'in stock'. I received confirmation and an email stating that the item was on its way. I have been calling for the last week and have left several voice messages and sent emails but as yest no item has been received and I've had no response from the company which is disappointing. Guessing I'll just have to pick this up with my credit card company. Shame because I thought The CoffeeBox had a good reputation.

The director is WILLIAM JAMES WRIGHT - KNARESBOROUGH. I suggest we blitz this idiot on social media and let everyone know that he's a scam merchant. Noting that at least one other director has already resigned this year. Please do not use this company and always check the trust pilots, etc. before using any company for the first time.

IF , LIKE HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE , YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THIS ' COMPANY ' , THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET A REFUND IS TO CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY , PAYPAL OR THE OTHER METHOD OF PAYMENT YOU USED . BUT DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !
