He tenido muy mala experiencia con este prestamista que manejan la tarjeta de Victoria’s Secret, me han hecho cargos los cuales no he autorizado y después me cobran cargos sin dejarme saber, pero si me mandan la publicidad a la dirección correcta. No volvería a usar esta tarjeta nunca más ya que de repente tienes algún saldo de alguna compra que no has realizado o te quedan diciendo que debes uno o dos dólares. Te cobro que no se hizo y te cobran como más de ciento dólares de retardo.
Greedy
I have a Comenity Worldwide Vacation & Travel Mastercard with a confusing interest rate. I received a promotion for no interest for 6 months. It was explained to me that I only had to pay interest on the balance after the promotion period. However, they charged me interest on the entire amount I borrowed. I was sold a vacation package by a company that worked with Comenity to open an account for me. The loan was for $9,000, and the interest was $1,172.46, which seems excessive for my balance at the end of 6 months, which is only $2,800. I will not give a star for this service; these companies seem to be driven by greed. I will never use this company again.
Deceptive practices
In January of 2024 I went to Zales jewelers to purchase our wedding jewelry. We purchased an engagement ring, 2 wedding bands, and a necklace for our wedding. The sales associate offered a 24 months no interest purchase on the Zales credit card which I did. I have been paying between $400 to $500 a month ever since without missing a single payment for the past 2 years. I have spent over $15,000 at Zales over the past 6 years and have been a credit card customer since 2016. I had a balance of $2800 left on my card this month. I was charged a $7, 259 interest charge this month because of differed interest which I never heard of before. It was never explained to me that if I didn't pay off the full balance within 2 years I would pay interest on the full purchase price. I called customer service shocked at the bill and the service agent said there is nothing she can do to reverse the charge even if I paid the remaining balance right now. I was going to pay off the balance with my March bonus check now I am stuck with a $10,000 bill. How can I be charged interest on thousands of dollars of payments I already made? I looked at the credit card brochure and it says 24 months of special financing. You have to read through to page 3 of the terms and conditions to see anything that speaks to deferred interest. How can you not inform customers of this massive penalty when they agree to a credit card promotion. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and would prefer to stay that way if we can rectify this situation. Upon trying to reach Comenity bank to clarify they do not respond back.

In general Comenity bank practices and associations under different entities are very confusing and hard to access.
Recent bad practice we noticed with Mastercard, Ulta beauty which tricks you to sign to Account Assured. I am sure many other customers have the same experience. Aside from charges, it is disrespect to customer's time and energy to call or go though the process to cancel. This is bad marketing meaning cheating customers. Hope they stop and perhaps Comenity find a better and more user friendly practices. The funny name of Bread Financial associated with Comenity is even more confusing. Do something about it please.
Comenity = predatory
Incredibly deceptive interest rate practices horrible customer service. Arhaus should be ashamed for using them as their financing partner. PREDATORY - BE CAREFUL DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM.

They are solely an online firm except when it comes to dispute resolution then it is snail mail all the way and the burden is on the customer. If you are unfortunate enough to get a Mastercard from a ComenityI retailer I suggest you never use it regardless of sales or points. You will regret it.
Zero protection when fraud happens
I’m shocked at how poorly this credit card company handled my situation. I have multiple charges from “LUXURY STYLES LLC” that I do not recognize.
When I contacted them, they did not help, did not resolve anything, and simply told me to go deal with the merchant myself. That is not what a credit card company should do when a customer reports suspicious or unauthorized charges.
There was no sense of urgency, no reassurance, and no real customer protection. I am now stuck dealing with fraudulent charges on my own.
This is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this credit card to anyone.
Interest robbery, No notifications
I am writing to express significant concern regarding recent charges applied to my account with Kay Jewelers and Comenity Bank.
Specifically, I was recently subjected to unexpected interest charges. Upon switching to paperless billing, I was not notified that interest would subsequently be applied to the balance throughout the year. As a result, a full year's worth of interest was added to my statement.
I am very dissatisfied with this process and the lack of clear communication regarding the financial implications of opting for paperless billing. I request an immediate review of these charges and clarification on how this interest was calculated and applied without prior notification.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Spent hours on the phone during the shutdown to ask for deferral. They set me up on a payment plan but still gave me late fees and reported me as past due. Every time I called they were testy even though they had messed up. Do NOT recommend.
Bait and switch zero per cent application
I called to apply for a zero percent balance transfer.And they took my information and I was approved for a credit card, but not a balance transfer. The agents and customer service didn't seem very knowledgeable, so I closed my account, and now I wonder if they were even legit.
The Comenity AAA visa cash back is…
The Comenity AAA visa cash back is basically a con job. There is no way to redeem it. Trust me, I've tried. When I reached $500 cash back, I decided to see what I could do with it. The answer is : nothing. Their redemption page is set up in such an illogical way that you think you're making a mistake when you fail. But, the truth is, it's set up that way on purpose. I've decided that rather than reward them for their subterfuge, I'll simply cut up the card and move on.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I made an honest mistake on my second payment with comenity. I went to make the payment on the due date but it wouldn't let me because they said the cutoff was 5:00 EST. I'm CST so that means an hour earlier for me. I had no clue because like most people, I didn't see that in the fine print. I called and asked them help push my payment through today since it's still the due date so I could avoid a late fee. They refused and said it would post tomorrow and I would be hit with a $30 late fee. Per their policy they would credit me $15 once and nothing more and never again. I know it's a small amount but good customer service would've made it happen. I told them to note that I would never ask again. Nope! I have had this happen before with other companies and they have always said no problem and credit it to me. I'm human and make mistakes but the fact that today is my due date and I made the payment and they wouldn't budge is uncalled for. I work in a business where we have to occasionally provide exceptions so I know how it works.
Zero score if i could
Closed my account, and thought I paid them off. Got an 3.00 minimum interest charge on a 0.00 balance. When I called them they said even though I paid it off by the due date, the amount didn't include the interest due which is why you still have a balance and owe the 3.00. I asked the why did it show account balance as an amount if it didn't include everything.. that's after I was finally able to speak to a real person.. and they basically said you have to pay the fee and didn't care at all that I feel I shouldnt have to pay that 3.00 fee, since I paid the total amount by the due date. So where was the interest amount coming from. Either way, don't do business with this company, their customer service is nonexistent, their website hard to navigate, their Ai bots useless... save the headache and hassle and just avoid them like the plague they are...
Disgraceful Bank
Disgraceful Bank. I requested a credit card. I was turned down. The report from Comenity stated my credit score was too low. The report showed my score of 811.
Obviously, I was turned down because of my age. Shame that they are allowed to abuse the elderly.
Fraudulent Interest Charges
I was sold the 12 month interest free card
deal when I bought a ring for my wife at Helzberg on 9/15/2024 for 1956.43. As soon as I got the card, I set up autopay to cover the cost in 12 payments. The system set up the autopay date for the 28th of each month. Every payment arrived on time. I just got a fraudulent $560 interest charge from Helzberg's servicer, Comenity, added to my account because they say I wasn't paid in full by 9/15/2025. This would have been technically true, however, I actually paid it off in 11 payments because I increased my monthly payment amount in June. Nevertheless, they refuse to remove the $560 illegal charge. As of 9/15/2025 I had paid $1989.50. If you include the service fee of $39.12, you could argue that I am $6 short - so by the letter of the law maybe they could
charge me interest on the $6 - but instead they are charging interest on the entire purchase. Also the service charge did not post to my account until 10/2/2024 and by 10/2/2025 I had paid another $193, so I'm inside the window no matter what. This would be predatory and unethical behavior even if I hadn't paid it off in 11 months - their system set the autopay date outside of the time frame that would have fit 12 equal payments. This is evidenced by the
fact that they still charged me the balloon payment even though I actually had paid it in full. Further to that point - when they sell people on zero interest if paid off in 12 months, they do not say "if you do not pay it off in 12 months you will owe the full 25% interest on the entire purchase. Not just your remaining balance." This is unethical false advertising.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience....I have a credit rating of 790... I purchased a Cricut on my card. and paid it in two payment. Comenity reported by account as late when it was not. I am in the middle of a refinance of my house and have never been late with anything. Comenity customer service did not understand the problem and made me repeat and reiterate the same issue.

This is the worst credit card company I have dealt with in recent years. They will try to charge you for every little thing interest plus fees plus interest on fees even when you try to pay in full. Scammy company. Any credit card I have with them, I always end up closing the account.
Avoid Comenity Bank
I will never open a card associated with Comenity Bank ever!!! I recently opened a card at IKEA and my statement stated on the front that mailed payments must be received by 5pm ET. Why? So they can screw you. I made my payment by phone after 5 because it did not state on the front that it had to be by that time. Apparently, I was late but didn’t know because that ridiculous rule is on the back in small writing. I’m beyond angry and will make sure everyone I know avoids cards with Comenity Bank.
The Money making scam
The worst customer service including supevisors, After a ck paying my bill in full was lost in the mail, I made the payment with my debit card and told them that I stopped payment on the ck. Less than a week later, they deposited the ck that I stopped payment on. They then charged me for a returned ck in addition to interest and a fee for not going paperless. After spending an hour on the phone and speaking to 4 people (2 supervisors), I was told that they would credit $2.00 interest but I had to pay the $34.98 in other fees and would have to enter a dispute which take 30-90 days to be reviewed. Comenity bank is nothig but a money making scam. my review is 5 negative stars
They failed to give me a conformation…
They failed to give me a conformation number for my on time online payment. This has never happened before in 10 years and it is an indicator of bad banking so beware and check all dealings with them carefully. I may be a way to get a fee for late payments. Again be warned!
