Okay so I bought these for myself and I'm not even a little embarrassed about it. I'd seen Compartés pop up a few times and finally just went for it.
So glad I did. These are genuinely the best peanut butter cups I've ever eaten! The dark chocolate actually tastes like real chocolate and the peanut butter inside tastes homemade, a little salty, not too sweet. Simple ingredients done really well. I ate a couple the first night and had to stop myself from finishing the whole box.
The packaging is beautiful too which I wasn't expecting to care about but I did. Felt fancy opening it even though I bought it for myself, which made me laugh a little.
They're handmade in LA in small batches and you can taste the difference. Not something you're going to find at a grocery store.
I'll 100% be ordering again. Probably as gifts for other people too, mostly as an excuse to keep some for myself.

Chocolate of the month club is a rip off. First month good and timely. Second month less chocolate and I had to contact them to get it sent out. Third month even less chocolate and again had to contact them. Overpriced, horrible service and could care less about their customers. Highly suggest spending elsewhere.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best chocolate I’ve ever had... nothing else even comes close. It’s my go-to gift for literally every birthday, holiday, or celebration because I know it’ll impress every single time. People always ask where I got it, and I’ve yet to meet anyone who doesn’t immediately fall in love. At this point, it’s not even just chocolate - it’s my signature gift. Haha!

Compartés is my go-to luxury gift for birthdays, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, thank you gifts, etc. because it's just SO beautiful (no wrapping needed - thank god), and tastes AMAZING! I placed the order 3/23 and I still don't have a delivery date and yet they bombard me with spam when they haven't completed a single order. Stay away from them!

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. I ordered chocolate for Easter this year, and it arrived about four days beforehand, but there were three items missing. I notified customer service, and they overnighted the missing items plus two extra pieces of chocolate at no charge. Amazingly, everything was here by Easter. The chocolate itself is very tasty and a great product. I will be buying from them again.

I paid $99 for a heart shaped box of Valentine chocolates. The box was green and really a darling box but the chocolate inside was close to the worst I’ve ever had. I will say the two pieces of apricot dipped in chocolate was very good. Very fresh. I also got two dipped in chocolate Oreos. The two Oreos were crisp and fresh. But I can buy Oreos dipped in chocolate that are a buck per cookie versus two in a $99 box of chocolate that take up a lot of space. They also had peanut butter cups two milk chocolate and two dark chocolate peanut butter cups. They were literally peanut butter on a base of dark or milk chocolate and then covered with more chocolate. There was nothing special about them at all. My box had 6 big marshmallows that you buy at the store that were stale and dipped in dark or milk chocolate . There were two chocolate covered dates they were stale, flavorless, and then the rest of the chocolates were basically just dark and milk chocolate poured into the little paper cups with some nuts inside of it, they were hard to bite off , the dark chocolate especially was overpowering and the milk and dark chocolate were very waxy, but really sweet and not very flavorful. So I would say this was the worst use of $100 that I’ve ever spent on chocolate.
I’m really surprised that Oprah raved about this chocolate that’s why I tried it but buyer beware!

14 days after spending over $12,000 on a corporate order the delivery has still not been received. I had to inform them about this. No apology. No compensation. Told it was out of their control.

I’ve ordered several times for friends and family. We are all so pleased with the flavor, variety and quality of the chocolate and added delicious ingredients. We are fans of the dark chocolate covered fruits! Packaging and timely shipping are perfect!

I wish I had checked Trustpilot’s reviews for Compartes before placing a corporate order for 150 boxes. The customer service was absolutely atrocious. We dealt with a man named Benjamin who was shockingly rude and condescending.

Yes, we were late in sending our recipient list — but Compartes knew the order was coming. They had already developed custom designs, received our proof approvals, and been in constant communication. Despite this, Benjamin refused to work with us to find a solution and simply left us in the lurch.

With service like this, Compartes should not be in the business of custom corporate chocolates. Fortunately, we quickly found another high-end chocolate company who sprang into action and saved the day.

They do not honor lower prices. Purchased a few items from them and within a week after my purchase the same items were 33 percent cheaper on their own website. I called customer service and asked them to honor the lower price. They flat out refused. I will take my future business else as most vendors are willing to accommodate price matches for recent purchases

Placed an order for a gift, filled out their order form with recipient address placed my order, got email that once shipped I would receive tracking, got the tracking that the order was on its way TO ME, not the gift recipient, contacted Compartes they said because I placed the order with Apple Pay it automatically pulls the address of the card holder for the shipping address( they also have a box that you check if it is to get shipped to the card holders address which I DID NOT check as it was to go to the address of the gift person) they said I could contact UPS and change the address, I immediately did that and learned UPS would charge me $16.99 plus $56.72 for a transportation fee, a $71.71 total to have the address changed, no thank you, what poor business practice, so beware if trying to gift through Comparte
