What a bunch of thieves! Car had 0 mechanical damage all purely cosmetic, yet they give me an extremely undervalued amount simply because it would cost more to repair as its outlet cosmetic wok! I showed several examples of cars similar millage/age and took into account pre existing scratches/minor dents (pre accident) to which I simply asked for it to either be repaired or returned to me but they used bully tactics and refused to revise my offer despite all the evidence showing otherwise.

Poor company lied over the phone about returning items off the car and a jiffy bag to return additional keys for the vehicles new owner which I agreed . Waited 4 months only to be told they have sold my items with the car and some was broke which is untrue as I have photos of them when the car was collected by them. Them say just throw the keys away very unprofessional . No compensation offered for the lying and selling of my items ! Worse company I have ever dealt with and should be ashamed to be treating people that way but they have no heart or compassion or most professionalism. Thank god fpe the company who employed them to deal with the case who resolved this as copart was not interested .

This copart is a joke. Paid £100 joining fee so i can get an email after 5 min stipulating that " those are our fees"
wanna buy a £2000 car = another £340.00 for buyers fee+ another £90 for bid fee ( yes exactly !!!those idiots charge you a bidding fee) and to have the cherry on the top of the cake they charge you £50 lot retrieval fee ( that's cause they bring the car from the yard to the porch) and i bet after all of that, when you go to pay for the car that will be another hidden fee somewhere!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY

I accidentally bidded on a car when I dropped my phone and 'won' Customer service has no understanding whatsoever. I'm very disappointed and won't be dealing with copart again!
New customer to, they just don't care about the customers, they just see money in their eyes.

Wouldn't let me write 0 stars.
My car was written off after an accident just before Christmas 2025. I was told Copart would be in touch, they rang whilst I was at work. I tried to ring back several times and couldn't get hold of them, phone number was not working. I have now received a fine through the post (beginning of March 2026) as my car was driven through a bus gate in London. I am in Bristol. As the car was written off this is illegal! Middle of March 2026 I have had a letter to say that the car is being driven without insurance either. Really not happy.

Michael - who collected my car - was cheerful and friendly and I credible quick. I was so very impressed with him - and his service. Following this - the young man I spoke to when I called for help (his name was Kyle) gave me precise and clear instruction for calling the DVLA to report the sake of the car and complete details of the address and contact details. I recently had a very frustrating experience with Copart that I feel needs to be highlighted. After visiting their site, I was left waiting for over two hours just for my car to be brought out. This level of delay is completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of organization and efficiency.
The staff appeared unprepared and, at times, indifferent to the long wait times customers were facing. It felt as though there was a serious shortage of properly trained personnel who understood how to manage operations or communicate effectively with customers. Basic customer service and coordination seemed to be missing entirely.
Copart seriously needs to invest in better staffing — not just in numbers, but in quality. Employees should be properly trained and equipped with the skills needed to handle customers professionally and manage time-sensitive processes. As it stands, the experience was chaotic and disappointing.
Overall, I would not recommend this location based on my experience. Significant improvements in staff training, organization, and customer service are urgently needed.

Unprofessional customer service, they were very difficult to deal with, we were misled and the journey with them affected the Mental Wellbeing of my wife.
We had to provide this company with information because they were not equipped to find it out for themselves. This had a detrimental effect on the Motor Claims Process.
In our opinion based purely on our experience, this company and its operation and respect for customers is 100% Useless and unprofessional.
Furthermore their inability to understand my complaint and not address all issues raised and miss evidence further illustrates their inability, failings to address the complaints raised. Further demonstrating their awful service and also for not recognising the effect thgis has had on the Mental Wellbeing of my wife. This shows CoPart complaints service is NOT fit for purpose.

Zoe Charters was a breath of fresh air in helping deal with our recovered stolen Vechile ! In the world where all big corporates are using Ai and automation for customer service but Zoe really does provide ‘GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE’!
Always got back to me when she said she would and quickly !! She knows the systems and processes and from recovering the Vechile to now she has been brilliant !! Lost £3k and Zoe was the only good bit
My first car, bought in Nov '25 - It had all sorts of issues off the bat (that weren't apparent during the test drive). I was then told I need a new engine in March '26 and the total work costs more than what I bought it for.
I've hated dealing with this whole process these last few days but Zoe truly made that experience just a bit better.
She helped with all of my concerns and even expressed empathy. Also had concerns with the salvage company that she helped with, even though she didn't need to.

Coport were friendly, polite and efficient when arranging the collection of my car over the telephone, and the collection of the car was handled with the same qualities, and I would say obvious expertise. If it had been possible to give a smaller time window for the collection it would have helped, but really that is not a big deal for me. Overall a great, professional company that does what it does extremely well.
