In that we have family working locally, we had personal reasons for selecting the area around Hawick for a short break and the Gardener's Cottage at Hoscote was absolutely ideal. Yes, it is a wee bit off the beaten track but it is in the beautiful Borders countryside surrounded by wildlife, expansive scenery, Estate parkland, agricultural enterprises etc etc. The on-line pictures of the Gardener's Cottage belies it's modern, spacious and beautifully fitted out interior.
The welcome from the housekeeper was a treat.
We'll be back.

It is amazing. We loved everything about this stay. Totally alone surrounded by nature and all sorts of animals- yet less than a minute from the motorway and access to tons of activities just 10-20 away with a car.

Have been hoping to stay at a C & C cottage and found the perfect location in Ravenscar. When we travel, we expect to have similar comforts and standards as we enjoy at home, and C & C does have a very high standard of properties. The process to book was straightforward and the team very helpful.

I have used CrabtreeCrabtree quite a few times now and honestly say they are excellent to work with from the start of the booking till the end.

Easy to book and amazing properties. More properties for reduced mobility please with ground floor facilities, bedrooms, walk in shower and on-site parking. Would also love the choice of paying for cancellation cover. Keep up the good work, great service.

Good selection of high quality properties. We’ve stayed in several different houses run by C&C and they were all appointed to a high standard. The web site is easy to use and provides plenty of details. C&C are a good company to use, responsive, helpful and easy to deal with.

From the very beginning, Lynn, who handled our booking, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole experience felt personal and welcoming, rather than dealing with a large corporate company.

When we arrived, the cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was the best we’ve ever received, with thoughtful treats like Prosecco as well as essentials such as milk, bread and butter, which made settling in so easy.

The housekeeper, Gail, was also fantastic. She was very supportive and resolved a small issue quickly and efficiently.

We wouldn’t hesitate to book through Crabtree & Crabtree again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a first-class holiday experience.

We booked a one week stay at the Head Gardener’s House at Floors Castle. The quality of accommodation was exceptional with fantastic room proportions, modern amenities and well presented. Access instructions and booking was very easy. We would have no hesitation using Crabtree and Crabtree again given their extensive range of good quality holiday accommodation.
