Curate has been a great experience for us!

Curate has been a great experience for our team, but what really stands out is their support. Their team is incredibly responsive, communicative, and genuinely helpful anytime we have a question or need guidance.
A special shout-out to Shannon. She is awesome; quick to respond, super knowledgeable, and always makes sure we feel taken care of. Her support has made a big difference for us.
On top of that, the Curate team is always improving the product and consistently rolling out new features and updates. Highly recommend Curate if you want a platform backed by a team that’s reliable, attentive, and easy to work with.

Good and Actively Improving

I love the curate platform for my floral business. It makes proposal creation quick on my end and professional on the client end. There are a couple of user experience features that I think could be improved, but their customer service team has always been really proactive about seeking feedback and then investing their energy into creating/improving tools we want and use.

Curate- Overall Worth the Investment

Before using Curate, I mainly used Excel spreadsheets to plan flower orders, write recipes, and track costs. It was a long process, but now Curate has provided a much easier solution with these abilities already built out. I've also really appreciated having my inventory like vessels and supplies catalogued to see in one place, with the ability to assign it to recipes as I prep for events.
I also receive frequent feedback from planners and couples that my proposals are both professional and aesthetically pleasing and image-heavy. I'm known for being detail oriented in these client documents- this is largely due to using Curate! It has replaced my old manual systems with a streamlined, centralized approach.
While I think there are many improvements that could be made to their new version, and many features of the original Curate I was used to after several years of using it day in and day out, they have a good support team and have a robust avenue for feedback for frequent improvements and updates. Overall, I think Curate has been a worthwhile investment for my business.

Not my favorite...

Curate is not built for a full-service catering business. They are trying but it's really not conducive to what is needed. The website is glitchy and slow, the only trainings are videos (who has time to watch videos?), their customer service bot is no use, and their wait times to talk to a human are growing longer everyday. The prior version, "Classic", took forever to get used to and they let a lot of their redeeming qualities slip through the cracks when transferring into "New Curate." It seems like everything requires a work around. Have you ever had to create your own invoices? Because I do! Some cool features but, honestly, I miss CaterXpert and THAT's saying something.

"We here at Heartfelt Flowers and Gifts have been using Curate for 3+ years. In the beginning we actually wanted a refund, but working with Shannon only one time, she got us up and running. Once we got used to using the system, it works really well and our proposals look very professional. Using this format ensures we have consistent pricing, it helps with making sure all the little details are covered, gives you a complete shopping list for orders and many more items as we have gone along. The initial set up of the catalog took some time, but was so worth it over the years. We are a small shop, so the investment is a little overwhelming, but we do find it worth it in the end."

We have been using Curate since 2021

We have been using Curate since 2021. It has helped us to streamline all of our events here in the floral shop. We are able to better help our customers by offering them professional, clean looking proposals. Curate has been easy to navigate for all of our team members. From helping us with our margins to ease of payment from our customer we give it 5 stars.

Curate has helped to simplify our workflow. Its makes it very easy to put together a proposal for clients and share the board with them so they can see their vision. We love that you are able to have an inventory with pricing already attached.

Thrilled and Excited!

I’ve been a florist with my company for years. I really enjoyed the old system and the newest upgrade to curate. Shannon, was great at explaining all the new functions of the program. I’m very much looking forward to using the new upgrade curate for all my special/wedding event needs.

Shannon was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient! I am not a techie person at all and she walked me through so much. Also she really listened to my questions and problem solved some issues I was having with Curate and printing reports.

NEW UPDATE IS THE WORST. FLAT OUT EXTORTION.

I have been a user since Stem Count (over ten years) and not only is the new iteration of this software much worse than the older version, I can now not add new recipes without paying $300+ a month. I was told on my migration call that my rate and functionality would not change because I am an early adopter and long time user. So much for brand loyalty. Also, this update came at the WORST POSSIBLE TIME for anyone with an events business. I have relied on Curate for years and now have to either learn a new system with less functionality than the old system and pay an extortion level monthly fee or find new software. So, basically, either way, I am f*cked as my business is growing and I have been training my team on this software.

Great System!

Working with Curate has been wonderful! Working for a catering company and looking for a sales system seemed daunting but once I found Curate they made it so easy! The system is easy to use and all the staff are responsive and very knowledgeable.

Hate the migration

Since leaving the review below the CEO of the company got in touch and we had a Zoom call for over an hour - brilliant customer service and at the time when the help button disappeared on their app this was out of their control, for the reasons he stated in reply.
Honestly the migration has caused me lots of extra work during a busy time - but am sure the new system will be amazing once I have fully learnt how to use it! Will dedicate some time to this and it will save me lots of time in the long run! Appreciate the help and support today.

Hate the migration - as others have said it was great before and now i have wasted hours of time trying to rectify numerous problems. I am pulling my hair out and now the online help system has disappeared as they didn’t like my replies or questions?? Please someone tell me which other software I can use? I have literally been with Curate since they were Stemcounter and so so disappointed

While our app is working fine, the tool we use for help (Intercom) is having issues with the rest of the internet. We're sorry this has happened! Our CEO responded to your email within 3 minutes of you sending it to him to offer to personally assist you so we hate that we weren't able to respond quicker.

As mentioned in the other posts, we didn't have an option in the migration due to some tools we historically had been using no longer working. But we'd love to continue to work with you to see if we can get your workflow back speedier than ever. We've sent a potential time to meet and hopefully it works given the time difference!

Ruined a good thing

They forced people off good software, onto terrible software with less features and they seem to have no intention of fixing the problems despite their insane fee. Look elsewhere, who knows what features they will remove next. Seriously you cant even have the clients name on the top of every page anymore, why remove that, why force me to waste my time turning to the front page. Just terrible if you have a large volume of clients each week.

Nightmare is an understatement!
I have lost so much money.
They didn’t just change EVERYTHING but they did it in the middle of the busiest time of the year.
Not only have I lost business due to bids for 2026. But I have had to hire additional staff to help navigate the process. I have brides not Paying on time because you had to toggle another piece on. And instead of 20 days before final payment due they put it down as three days before the wedding. I couldn’t figure out why my customers weren’t paying on time.
Toggle this, toggle that.
They Setup everything differently than what was a program that was easy to navigate.
It went from beautiful layouts to glitches and I’m paying the most for all the programs.and I only have a certain amount of proposals or I have to pay more now.
To say I am completely frustrated and disappointed in this program is an understatement! So frustrating.
I was doing this myself. Now I have my husband and employees working with me.
They are frustrated as well. $is rolling out on hours and upset customers waiting for updates and proposals

Thanks for taking time to leave a review. We totally agree with you on the timing being bad (the middle of many event pros season). We've been running migrations since 2024 and for those who opted to wait, it ended up being more abrupt than we hoped. The classic system was built using some tools over a decade ago that have gone out of business or are deprecating. In May we had an outage with one of the tools and literally this month there are some tools that are failing to work as they should. We're sorry for the headache on the timing. Given the technology issues, the only thing worse than migrating was people not have access to their accounts so we had to make the choice where we could move and improve as customer feedback has come in. To help expedite the feedback, we a floral committee of some of the users on our program who are giving us feedback on how to get back to the ease of Classic. We appreciate you taking time to leave us a review and would like to work to make it better.

Regarding your payment schedule, that's completely automated based on your preferences. You can select different payment schedules directly when creating the event if you don't want the current schedule.
