From start to finish , buying my son a bike for Christmas from UK Cycle Centre was so easy. I chose to use the interest free monthly payment plan - which again was a doddle to fill in. The follow up afterwards from a member of staff to complete the order was prompt , helpful and informative. Great service. Great staff. Great offers.

I followed a link directly from a google search to the product I wanted and to be fair I didn't check out the rest of the UK CC website. It was not obvious to me that the product I was buying (a cassette) was used, but it was the spec I wanted and I was in a rush, so I got on and purchased. In my opinion, a used cassette is a waste of money - it will cost you more than you save, because your new chain will wear out more rapidly. Essentially I feel that I have been sold something that is not fit for purpose. I contacted UK CC and after a short delay they got back to me. They were happy to refund and explained their rationale for selling used cassettes. I still feel the website needs to be more obvious so only three stars

Advertised kids hope cycling kit at a good price'
So told the girls they were in for a treat and the store took my cash.
A couple of days went by only to be informed that the hope kit had never been in stock and was shown as an "IT Error".
So 2 upset kids and no cycling strips.
Wouldn't come near this company with a barge pole as their computerised stock system seems to be sentient and out of their control! Or they couldn't be bothered to check what was actually up on their 'sale'!

I am a returning customer, always have had great service and prices. Added bonus is the free delivery option, items still arrive quickly.
