In principle these chemical-free hair colours are fantastic.
However, bear in mind that you'll have spent a lot of money potentially trying to find the colour you want.
I have called the advice line many times to explain the issues I was having trying to find a colour that I liked but also covered my grey roots.
The first time I called I was advised natural oak but this turned out to be almost black. The second time I was advised to mix two colours, they didn't work as still too dark. The third time I was advised lightest brown but this did nothing at all apart from turn my grey roots into a yellowy brown.
Unfortunately given that I have long hair, I needed two bottles of powder and so each time it cost not far off 25 pounds.
The other thing is that the colour on the ends faded extremely quickly, probably after a couple of weeks ( despite having followed the instructions meticulously) and so this isn't the permanent hair colour it claims to be. Given the cost and lengthy application process, sadly it has been wasted money and effort.

Really disappointed. The colour did not cover my grey roots at all. I followed the instructions to the letter. The colour on my previously box dyed hair was a nice colour. My scalp did sting ever so slightly which I've not experienced before. I do have coarse frizzy hair which from reading the blurb is the hardest to cover in terms of grey. But disappointed to still have my horrible grey roots on display.

Hello Daniel field mail order team, I've been meaning to leave a review for some time now, wanting to thank you for all your support with my hair journey, after going through a lot of stress I developed a skin condition, that mainly affected my scalp leaving me with dry patches all over, hair thinning and loss. I was advised by the doctors to try more organic products on my hair, the thought of going to a salon was a no go for me.
I love the fact that I could call in and have a consultation with one of your hair experts, that spoke with me for over 30 mins going through what would be best for me to try, she was spot on!
I'm now using shade 6 watercolour and from Alice england.com smooth and grow shampoo and conditioner.
I loved the fact I did not have to go into a salon as mentally I was not ready for that, the information given to me was honest and open, I did not feel pressured or silly for asking any questions, genuinely a really pleasant experience all around.

I love this hair colour - so easy to apply and make my hair soft and shiny.
