Dan is THE professional butler.
His abilities to anticipate the needs of our party of twelve people were most impressive. His manners and service are faultless.
Dan discreetly kept multiple things rolling like serving tea, retrieving coats and answering questions - all whilst lending an arm to an older person with walking issues.

Dan wa the butler at Ugbrook House the week of April 24th. Dan ensured our clothes were ironed and shoes cleaned in addition to providing perfect service during meals and tea (best coffee I have had in the UK). Dan greeted our arrival with a smile and conversation. He provided the perfect level of service without being intrusive.

During a small group tour of country houses in Devon & Cornwall, our stay at Ugbrooke House was made even more wonderful with Dan the Butler's exemplary service. His thoughtfulness in following up on our requests was greatly appreciated, making us feel welcome and extra comfortable. No detail was overlooked.

Dan was amazing. He was always there when you needed him and always, so very helpful. He anticipated my every need. I highly recommend him.

Dan has been employed repeatedly over the years by family and friends and I think that says it all. Dan is professional, skilled, resourceful and attentive to everyone's needs. He creates a magical, fun environment and can be relied on in any situation and at any event. From small family gatherings to more formal soirées (and anything inbetween!) Dan's experience and enthusiasm ensure everything goes smoothly. Brilliant.

Dan is a refined professional, a wizard behind the scenes making everything flawless, and an endless source of knowledge. He is also, warm and kind and hilarious. His presence makes anyone feel at ease, you know everything is being taken care of when Dan is on the job.

Dan is magic. He makes everything seamless and stressless. He is intuitive and professional and so easy to have around. Tables laid and cleared, breakfast laid out. He remembers everyone’s preferences. He is a joy. Nothing seemed too much, he discreetly kept everything running smoothly for all of us. What a treat. Dan is THE man. Thank you so much Dan.

What can I say? This man will take care of everything, even things you didn't think of. He is always smiling and makes you and everyone involved confident that all will be handled. The things he can do behind the scenes show up front. With Dan everything runs smoothly and you will request his help over and over again.

We spent a week with Dan at a Private Villa in France and no stone was left unturned. From the moment we arrived Dan had fresh towels and Champagne to refresh us from our long journey. He was always attentive to our needs and knew very quickly what our preferences were for food and drinks. His attention to detail in meals from the food to be served to the table settings and floral arrangements - always impeccable. Any travel details or outings we wanted to do - Dan efficiently arranged these for us. He is like a ninja and just works away in the background and is silent as a mouse. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan for any and all of your hospitality and bespoke needs. And will definitely use his services again.

I spent many days under Dans care. His kind and genuine nature provided a foundation for the luxury setting. Knowing that all my needs would be attended to with precision and style allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my time. Dan is pathologically helpful!!

Out of this world experience- thoughtful, hard working, fun to be around. Run , don’t walk. Hire him, you’ll be happy you did!

When our son told me we needed a butler to help with our Golden Wedding anniversary celebrations, I laughed and said a butler was the one thing I did NOT need. He insisted, Dan arrived and the rest, as they say, is history. Dan was absolutely brilliant. He worked incredibly hard, nothing was too much trouble and he transformed what could have been an exhausting week of catering for 18 into 7 days of fun. He is just lovely to have around; all our guests loved him as much as we did and I cannot recommend him more highly.
