I ordered 2 skeins of yarn
I ordered 2 skeins of yarn - never received. The package was delivered and it was completely empty - I still have the package. I didn't open it or reseal it. It is obviously empty. After much ado to re-order the yarn, the cancelled the order because they said they shipped the yarn and would no longer do business with me. I work retail, I would not screw someone out of product. They won't answer their phone or respond to messages. I'm furious.
It's amazing that once you post a bad review, they try to apologize. They weren't will to help me before the reviews. I would never and will never do business with them again. There are too many good yarn companies out there that value their customers.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I’m truly sorry for the frustration and distress this situation has caused. That is absolutely not the experience we want for any of our customers, especially someone who understands retail and clearly acted in good faith.
An empty package is understandably upsetting, and we recognize that this can happen due to issues during transit that are completely outside of your control. I sincerely apologize if our previous communication or actions made you feel unheard or unfairly treated.
We would like the opportunity to review this again and look into what happened. If you’re willing, please reply with photos of the packaging you received (including the shipping label and the empty contents) so we can escalate this internally and reassess the situation with our team.

expensive, bad service, and poor quality
Their yarn is expensive and I’ve gotten multiple orders where the yarn arrives covered in hair and dirt as if it was stored on the floor. The package itself is not damaged so it’s not gotten dirty through transit. The yarn is often not as pictured on the website. They make it impossible to return anything because they claim they have restocking fees which is just ridiculous. Also you get bombarded by emails but their product selection is limited. I no longer subscribe or shop here.

Beautiful products; excellent customer service
Normally, my beautiful dgy products arrive quickly. My recent order was a little different. As part of a special deal, I requested skirts in a specific color. When my order was delayed due to overwhelming demand, DGY first offered extra bonus for my inconvenience. Then they updated order status and offered to send an alternate color for faster delivery if I preferred. I choose to wait for the color I wanted. When the skirts arrived, bot were perfect, exactly what I wanted. I could not have chosen better if I had been in the warehouse. Grace under pressure is the lesson of the day. Terrible
I ordered three items from Darn Good Yarn - the Trinkets and Treasures mystery bag, the Mystery Notions grab bag, and a skirt. The only item I was pleased with was the skirt. The grab bags did not come wrapped - instead it was just look items in a box. The yarn was of exceeding poor quality - one left dye on my hands after crocheting with it and one is so tangled up no one in my family can unwind it. My mom and aunt are working on it now and it has torn several times from gentle pressure. Do not but crafting supplies from this company - the yarn is, in fact, NOT darn good. It's the most I've ever spent on my hobby and I was so, so disappointed to have my first "good" yarn be so cheap and impossible to work with.

I love Dgy. They dress me in sumptuous colours and beautiful sari silks. I (and my husband) love everything that I have purchased from Dgy. I'm also about supporting companies that invest in fair trade marketing with impoverished countries like India; I purchase many things from Nepal for the same reason: it gives women with very few options the chance to improve the lives of themselves and their families.

Fantastic recycled fabulousnesses
I generally buy from Sam’s sales. She is brilliant. I like to see a product before I buy it so the Facebook sales are brilliant for me. It is such a great and supportive community too.
My latest purchase came from one of Nell’s live sales. It has an awesome yellow long layer that is perfect for spring. I plan to wear it on Easter Sunday. It also came with a gift of a small red stone bracelet and handwritten note. Beautiful 💕💕💕
