Worst dentist I've ever used, I had 2 fillings on my top front teeth, she drilled too deep' the fillings come out and both teeth snapped! Then COVID hit didn't have a appointment for a couple years, when i did they gave me a 8 week treatment plan in tavistock, I live in Plymouth and went to my first appointment and it was cancelled! So went back to one of my first out of 8 she put a filling in, and then i couldn't make the next appointment cancelled in time, so they struck me of the nhs dentist, and left me with a rotten tooth that has now snapped! And because i needed root canal treatment on another next 2 the broken one it's about to break, so they left me with no top front teeth. I wouldn't recommend if they was the last dentist around.

I attended the dentist today by bringing a scheduled check forward, because I have had a previous repair here that is failing and I am due to go away shortly, I am not sure the reasons it’s failing so I am not questioning the professionalism there. However what I do object to is the what’s app message and email on a Sunday to fill out a form, and to do so I have to create another account with someone. However ignored this and spent 2 mins checking my details in the dentist on there public i pad and signed it. I was invited to see a new dentist for me, very pleasant, he checked me over, I explained exactly what I was hopping may happen, ie carry out a repair to stabilise my tooth eg. but he was not entirely sure what he could do nor very confident in any ideas that he mentioned, there was one thing that could be done perhaps, and that would cost in the region of over £3;000. When asked what he proposed for now, it was well carry on as you are, even though my tooth is loose. And I asked twice, but I was offered an hygienist appointment at £90 for half an hour, and some xrays to see the back of my teeth, I didn’t ask the cost. But I only normally xrays if there are problems, perhaps this is new, and maybe it’s better to check now. But as I was paying £60 for a 7 Minute appointment I didn’t want to be stung with another cost. I have also asked to be removed from the email and newsletter, as nice as it maybe to tell me about new machines and the newly decorated rooms, I am unfortunately not that passionate about it, I would far rather we returned to the previous owners ways which were far simpler and which kept the cost to a sensible rate. I doubt wether the owners would want to hear about the latest house brick that has come to the market on a Sunday, if I had done some work for him.
