Jaw droppingly incompetant, told me they couldn't prosecute because they hadn't a full name???,then accidentally agreed to 50/50!!! when I had photos and videos??

Shocked that this company has gone bust owing me £1300 through overpayment.
The agents must have known yet led me to believe that all was well.
I was even told that DAS had a new name FLASH.
Those in the know should be prosecuted for fraud. Daniel and Zach seemed to be up front and trustworthy but they must have known cos I was in communication with them as the company was going into liquidation.
Appalling all that none of its customers were told.
Anyone know how I can appeal to get my £1300 back?! 😩

Awful. Truly awful. I had business legal insurance. I made a claim. They didn't bother to even respond to the claim. I only got a response 3 months later after I complained and that was to say my claim was not accepted. Like a lot of insurance, this legal cover is basically a scam. There are so many restrictions that in reality its a chocolate tea pot policy. Don't bother. Save yourself a few quid.

First time I've ever taken time to review someone on Trustpilot. This company are so so poor. It's an absolute waste of time and money, I can't discourage anyone enough from using them. You will get absolutely nothing/nowhere with them. You're more likely to get success spending your money on magic beans.

They sent emergency plumbers out on two different occasions and they made things worse causing more water damage and more cost to repair. Ended up paying for a private plumber to properly diagnose and repair the second leak, that DAS plumber caused. DAS don’t accept responsibility and offer a poultry £50 each time whereas repair and redecoration cost at least ten times their offer! Waste of time and won’t waste time and money having a DAS policy.

The ARAG legal advice line is part of my insurance package. Wanted to check a legal point and the matter was dealt with in good time. The advisor even said they would research the matter post phone call to double check (and call if incorrect). Great customer service.

emercency cover is being mis-sold! it should be called 'we'll get to you when/if we can' cover. I can see now why they do not define emergency in the policy and provide no definitive response times. Not impressed and will be complaining to ombudsman.

I would never use them again. I have a large claim and expected DAS to handle the legal cover in a normal way but nothing is normal. They will use DAS Law or may give you solicitors on a panel who must be on cheap rates as the work is so slow. I informed DAS in August 2024 and we have not got anyway with our claims and I am out of pocket a large amount and wish I had paid for my own solicitors.

I spoke with Evren last week looking for legal business advice. He provided an excellent service and was very thorough in his knowledge and articulated the relevant areas within contract law which I needed to know. He was very calm, patient and reiterated information so I understood. I would like to thank him for his excellent service and advice. After speaking with him I had the knowledge I needed. I'm far from impressed with the lack of service I have received and I will be complaining to my house insurance supplier about its appalling service.
