Daymans DIY is a family run DIY and hardware store which has been based in the heart of Leicester since 1928. Our business has been handed down through generations of our family. Founded by William Edward Dayman in 1928 on the same road that we are based today. The shop is currently ran by Steve Dayman (3rd generation) & son Adam Dayman (4th generation). Excellent personal customer service is at the heart of our business and we always have the kettle on and a hot cup of tea for anyone who comes to our store. Whether its to have a brew whilst they wait for their order or to have a browse around the shop. Many of our customers have become friends over the years and we know them by name as they know us. Our shop is an Aladdin's cave of DIY and hardware including: Tools, Paint, Electrical, Building Materials, Plumbing, Garden Materials and more. We currently have over 5000 products on our website which is constantly growing. Our website and customer service are managed solely in house to offer the best service possible. We offer a number of bespoke services such as bespoke builds and free timber cutting.

Royal Mail lost our delivery - but excellent customer service
The Royal Mail lost our delivery, but the company couldn't have been more helpful when I got in contact, sending out a replacement order asap and keeping me updated on its progress. 5*s for great customer service.

Use Daymans delivery services regularly for compost and manure. Arrives promptly, same day or next day, it’s free over £25 and the driver does all the lifting . Highly recommended 😁
