Where to begin. I'm a professional filmmaker, no stranger to location sound. I purchased three sets of Deity Theos mics. Out of the box, day one, one of the receivers was eating batteries. Like, full battery drain in 30 minutes. Second day, a second receiver was pairing and unpairing with its transmitters. If you're keeping count, two out of three mics were defective out of the box. And I'm on set changing batteries on these packs and pairing mics 20 times a day.

This brings me to Deity customer support. It's now been one month and I have yet to speak to a person on the phone. Mind you, each mic cost nearly 1000 dollars. So I've given them over 3000 dollars, and I'm getting email replies once every three days. Every time I ask for a phone number, I get a deflection.

After a month, I get an RMA and a return slip. I ship two mics back. One week later, no response. I send an email, get an email response saying "don't worry, we have shipped your mic". The next day, I get a notice that the two mics have shipped.

I've now received my box in the mail... and it's only one mic. They only sent one of the two mics.

Bottom line, there is something seriously wrong with this company, and their product and support are not to be trusted.

Deity has really impressed me this year. I love how hard they work to respond to customer feedback. Their products are excellent at a reasonable price giving people like myself a chance to work with good products without selling my home to afford it. I had one small issue with a dead lcd screen on a TC-1 and customer service was fantastic and sent out a replacement quickly! I really value a company that stands behind their products. I love my S-mic 2s and use it often. I have two of the Theos Wireless kits and everything works so well. It's easy for anyone to use, and the quality of construction is great. I can't wait to see what Deity does next.

I bought their Deity Pocket Wireless Mics to use for my podcast and other recordings, as an audio engineer I've been very impressed with the quality of the sound and to finally have the ability to walk around and record, and not be tethered to a single location. The transmitter and receiver were very easy to pair, it was sent in a very nice case for protection if traveling!
