Fustrating operating model
Dealing with Designer Carpet is incredibly frustrating. Firstly, they only deliver to postcodes one day a week which is not made clear when you order and also severely limits your options. Secondly, unlike every other supplier we've worked with (kitchen units, quartz worktops) they require you to confirm a delivery date before booking it in. We were given less than 48 hours to confirm a delivery slot by which point we'd missed it and had to wait an extra week! They claim there are no other specialist couriers in the country who could deliver it which I find hard to be true.

Carpet delivery is unfortunately different from most other products. There are very few couriers willing to transport carpets safely, and even fewer that are willing to do so with larger/heavier rolls.
We always require confirmation from our customers before booking a delivery date. This is because if the customer is not present for delivery on the day, the delivery will failed, which can then lead to delays and additional redelivery charges.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us review our communication processes, and we’re sorry again for any inconvenience caused.
Extremely helpful and professional service

We are very happy with the product quality and the carpet fitted exactly as he suggested. The stairs look amazing and I highly recommend Steven and this company in the supply of designer carpets.
