Service Requested: Book interior reformatting for Amazon KDP upload.This company failed spectacularly to deliver the single service I paid for: providing a properly formatted, print-ready file for my book. What I received was not only unusable, but also they aggressively butchered the original content.The output file featured an inexplicable, massive two-inch white border surrounding every page. This alone would have made the file unusable for standard Amazon upload requirements, completely throwing off the intended trim size.Worse, the internal content, both the text and the photos, were severely and incorrectly scaled down and compressed. The outcome was a document that was not only challenging to read but also completely unreadable and distorted, resulting in all visual elements appearing unprofessional and muddy. The core purpose of the hire was to prepare my book for publication; the deliverable made the book impossible to publish.Aggressive, non-service-related sales tactics tainted the experience, compounding the failure of the core formatting job. They spent valuable time repeatedly trying to upsell me on a ghostwriting package. Furthermore, they provided incorrect and misleading information, insisting I needed to formally copyright the book before Amazon would accept the final copy, a clear attempt to push unnecessary services and misguide me.I wasted both time and money on this service. This was not a minor technical error; this was a fundamental failure to understand the basics of book layout and reformatting, coupled with unethical business practices. I now have to hire a competent professional to undo this damage and start the job over. Avoid this company if you value your publication deadlines, the integrity of your book’s design, and honest service.I strongly demand a full refund, as the product delivered is not fit for the agreed-upon purpose.
