Digital Legacy is a UK media digitisation service helping families preserve their most meaningful memories with care, speed and modern technology. We specialise in converting physical media such as VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, 8mm and Super 8 film, audio cassettes, slides and printed photos into convenient digital formats that are easier to watch, store and share. We know these items are often far more than “old tapes” or “old photos”. They can contain weddings, childhood memories, family holidays, voices of loved ones and moments that cannot be recreated. That is why our service is built around trust, clear communication and careful handling from start to finish. Our Media Box service is designed to make the process simple. Customers can gather their items at home, send them to us safely, and receive their memories back digitally. We also focus on modern cloud delivery through the Digital Legacy Cloud Album, giving customers a secure and easy way to view and share their preserved memories online. Digital Legacy is not a faceless processing factory. We aim to be a partner in preservation, combining a personal, human service with fast turnaround times, fair pricing and a modern digital experience.

Fantastic company great job and very good price

Thoroughly researched all options before handing over my old but very precious tapes. Rest assured the price was very reasonable and the service was amazing. I received a progress report on how long the tapes required to be transferred to a digital format and also how the quality was being enhanced too. I received the data via the cloud which was super easy to access and download to my computer. I am so happy with this company and will be recommending them to all my friends! Thank you so much Sam and the team.

Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Digital Legacy. Kept up to date at every step of the process and the quality of the digital copies is as good as the original tapes, Very competitive pricing too!

I received my USB very quickly

I received my USB very quickly. I was updated at every step of the process. I asked for a different formatting of the USB so I could use it on my iPad ad they were very accommodating.

Had a problem with my order and it was
immediately sorted out. Very professional and great communication through WhatsApp. Would defo use again and the VHS they converted for me was spot on. Thanks again.

Awesome guys, extremely friendly, helpful and communicative with helpful update and confirmation emails as well as being contactable on whatsapp, highly recommend supporting this local business, will be recommending to family and friends

Emotional reunion.

In just 9 days from first contact l was reunited with my late husband after 28 years. He had made a video when he was told that he had terminal cancer, in it he left memories and advice to our 4 children. He was a strong and brave man. I had excellent communication for each step along the way, my questions were answered and explained.
I had complete trust in the company in handling my prized possessions which were returned unscathed.
I totally recommend DIGITAL LEGACY and plan to use them again.
A massive thank you to Sam and the team.
