I have been extremely happy with Dimov Tax and with the entire team.

My tax situation was far from straightforward, involving international tax matters with U.S. tax implications. What I particularly appreciate about Dimov Tax is that they have taken the time to understand the details of my situation rather than treating it like a standard tax return.

The communication has been excellent, the team has been responsive and professional, and I have always felt that my questions were taken seriously. I especially appreciate being able to discuss complex tax-planning questions directly with knowledgeable members of the team and having them take the time to explain the different issues and possible approaches.

Everyone I have dealt with has been courteous, helpful, and genuinely interested in finding the best way to handle my situation. That level of attention and professionalism has given me a great deal of confidence.

I would absolutely recommend Dimov Tax to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and responsive tax team, particularly for more complicated tax situations.

The Dimov team has been prompt and attentive when completing my returns for the last several years and have been of assistance for some long term tax planning. I've been very pleased with the results and definitely recommend them.

These folks are great - I used to work at a CPA firm and was used to those communication styles and practices. I'm glad to say that at Dimov, the quick response times and information made available to us, as well as time included to help us with some small tax planning, and handling our dad's estate and final tax return have all been really a good experience. They were helpful, persistent, and incredibly professional and an all-around good experience. We will go with them again, now that we have relocated out of the country (and still have to file in the USA, because, well, America's gotta America, haha).

We used Dimov for our personal taxes this year because we wanted a tax service we could trust to handle our taxes promptly and without mistakes. Our research and initial call with Dimov made us think they could provide that, so we agreed to pay their $700 fee (way more than we have paid for any other service). Unfortunately, this is the worst experience we've ever had with a professional tax service and we are still waiting for our refund as the calendar moves into September!

During the initial sales call, Dimov assured us they could respond to any questions within 48 hours. Instead, once they had our payment, my spouse had to email multiple people in the company multiple times to get updates on our return. We provided all documents on March 3 and became nervous as we still had no timeline update on April 10. Finally, a staff member responded that their team was "overbooked" and they would file an extension for us free of charge. After that, we followed up on May 11 for an update, noting that we had a change in our financial situation and really needed our refund. Dimov said they understood the urgency and would finish our return in 15 business days (gee thanks). After those 15 days, we prompted them again on June 1 and finally received a draft return.

We asked Dimov to prepare our local returns, and I regret that now. They claimed local returns couldn't be filed electronically (which I now know to be incorrect) and gave us paper returns to send. Apparently paper returns take up to 12 weeks to process, and now that we're at 11 weeks, I just received a letter from the local tax collector saying that they need additional documentation Dimov didn't instruct us to send. The local refund we're owed is substantial, and I'm very frustrated we still don't have it.

Don't use this firm! The sales pitch sounds great (they even offered us a 20 minute call to provide tax strategy advice, which never materialized) -- but they simply cannot deliver.

I had a very positive experience with Dimov and the consultants who helped me .. over the course of three years they helped me to get my tax situation addressed and resolved. Always positive and professional. I would highly recommend Dimov Tax Consultants.

I requested advice on taxation for a US resident leaving the US, from both a US and UK perspective. The initial call seemed to be more about triage but the representative hadn't read any of my questions. The supposed "US expert" call was with a representative who wasn't an expert and was completely wrong about exit taxation on qualified savings. He did correct himself in a later e-mail when I suggested he might be wrong. I ended up cancelling the UK call and researching myself as I wasn't that confident in their abilities. I did ask about three times for estimates to prepare taxes out of interest, but nobody ever responded.

Literally the Worst

And to be clear, I don't just mean the worst accounting service I've ever used, which they are, but I mean the worst professional relationship I've ever had in my life.

Dealing with Dimov Tax is akin to attempting to cajole a 5 year old to clean their room when you've already given them the reward (i.e. payment) for doing the task. Every step of the way felt like pulling teeth. Every update they promised was never given until I harangued them. Every time they needed a piece of info from me, they never reached out, they simply sat on their hands until I reached out to them asking why nothing was progressing, at which point they would say, "oh sorry we've been doing nothing for the last two weeks because we have this question for you that could have been answered in 5 minutes."

It's as if they were purposefully looking for reasons to drag out doing my taxes as long as possible. It took them MONTHS to do my taxes. The amount of stress I went through dealing with these unprofessional individuals is ridiculous.

Do yourself a favor a never deal with these people, for your own sake.

I have had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Dimov Tax and do not recommend. Stay away from this place as they are truly the definition of unprofessional, take 1-4 weeks to reply to emails, have the worst phone service and can't get ahold of anyone, have many people on emails who you don't even know, and do not do quality work and can't even meet with anyone on the team to talk to them about your questions. Stay away and I wish I would have known sooner. This place won't be in business too long the way they are doing business.

UPDATE 8/20/26: I asked them to refund me for the service that they were unable to deliver and they responded, " In exchange for us granting this full refund of $200, we ask that you agree to remove the negative online review.

Please let me know if you are agreeable to this mutual resolution. Once you confirm and the review is removed, we will immediately process the full credit back to you and send you the confirmation, so we can close your file amicably."

I believe this is unethical and not appropriate to ask me to remove my honest review. I believe other people should know as I have would have liked to know. I will be reporting this business to BBB and Google so they are aware of their behaviors. I have attached the email for reference. I hope this helps others. Stay away from this business!! RUN!!

We've worked with Dimov Tax on both consulting and filing, and we've been very pleased. Our first consultation with Doni was the standout — he was quick, sharp, and clearly knew his stuff. What stuck with us was how genuinely passionate he seemed about actually helping us, not just processing paperwork. My wife left that call wanting to work only with him.

One year prior, we'd tried a big commercial preparer who missed a significant credit we were entitled to. Doni caught it and fixed it. That alone more than paid for the engagement, and it's the kind of thing you only get from someone who actually knows the code and cares enough to look.

The rest of the team has been professional and thorough too — clear communication, steady follow-through, and no dropped balls.

Highly recommend Dimov Tax for anyone who wants a firm that's both technically strong and genuinely invested in the outcome.

I’ve had nothing but a positive experience with the team at Dimov! I sold a large amount of stock options in 2024 that made for a complicated tax filing. My family accountant didn’t know how to handle it and completely misfiled my taxes. I ended up overpaying by ~$80K due to some relatively simple mistakes. I reached out to Dimov’s team because they came up in my search for accountants with ISO tax experience.

While I got incredibly busy and was not able to fulfill my end of the project, they remained professionally persistent and followed up with me to help me see the large return I was owed. Once I got them the info they needed, we were off to the races and got the amended file completed within DAYS.

I was so incredibly impressed with their efficiency and am just so grateful that they didn’t let me leave this project unfinished. This is hugely meaningful for my finances and life. I will be using them for my future taxes for the foreseeable future and recommending my friends and family to them!

I do not write reviews ever, however, I felt the need to warn people about this service. I spent a lot of money with them to handle my Canadian and American tax returns. They completed my American tax return on time but I owed a ton of money and they had to ask their senior analyst about basic questions I asked.My Canadian tax return was completed several months past the April 30th deadline. Whenever I asked about the status they would say that they didnt expect me to owe anything and that it would be completed soon. In fairness to them I did not owe anything, but the lack of professionalism, accountability and transparency was frankly alarming. I would never use this service to handle my taxes again and would steer anyone away from them. I hope this helps.
