Terrible Owner, Terrible Company
If I could give them negative stars, I would.
Dims (DBA), founded by Eugene C. Kim, was an LA based furniture company under Passu, Inc. Before making a purchase, I validated the company via multiple platforms and contacted their customer service. When I didn't receive the product (it takes 4-6 weeks to ship the item after making a purchase), I checked their website and to my dismay, it was no longer active. I followed up but they never replied to my emails, Instagram message or phone calls. In fact, Dims Instagram account is now private and they have blocked me even though I sent only one message asking them to check the status of my order. After researching, I found a short article on Architectural Digest that the company shut down. They didn’t inform their customers or let them know the status of their orders. To my surprise, I received the table a week or two later, but it was defective, so I couldn't assemble or use it.
The Eave Table costs $2,432.71.
Dims is a dishonest company who lacks integrity. With their unethical business practices, it’s no wonder the company went out of business after 4 years.
Use my experience as a cautionary tale and don’t support any future business ventures by Eugene C. Kim. I wasn’t the only person impacted. He should be ashamed of himself for his behavior and services towards his business partners, employees, customers and community.
