Excellent price for a 50cc scooter, good service and friendly. 10/10

I ordered a scooter for my son from Direct Bikes. Then my heart sank as i read some awful reviews and immediately became concerned. I emailed them, and they replied to all my emails, even at 11pm. My concerns were groundless, they delivered the bike on time, and although they do not complete the registration forms, they do help with any questions you have to fill them in. I personally would pay them extra to do this as i hate filling forms out and risk making mistakes, however, i understand they do this to keep the prices low. I would not be worried about ordering another bike from them as i have had really good customer service from them.

Nothing but trouble since I got my 125cc python scooter first of all you have to register the whole thing from scratch took me 6 months to figure out then my wing mirror snapped off at the weld then my speed gauge stopped working then my exhaust snapped off and a bolt that was holding the frame on came loose now I can’t find a exhaust to fit the model of my scooter and the websites they gave me to get a spare part don’t even sell them would never buy a Chinese model again

Well we got the bike but no paperwork and not as advertised.
Bits missing and damaged
They dont answer the phone or email.
We now have a scooter we can't use.
Luckily we paid on credit card so will be raising a clame.
If you read this direct bike you can come clear your junk from my garage anytime.
Guessing the good review is them...

I brought a 50cc scooter from these people and what a load of rubbish.
It is a death trap and my granddaughter could not ride the thing to dangerous
directbikes.co.uk are trying to get the company strike off with company house
so if they owe you money or scooters get in touch with company house and ask them
not to strike off because once they strike off directbikes you will not get a penny.

Bought the Sports Scooter. Ordered Friday came on Tuesday. Well packaged. Perfect Condition and Great Value for Money. Started up no problem and runs great too. For the price this is a bargain. The after sales and communication seems good so far. I have been on the phone to Gary their mechanic to get a little help on where the four rubber grommets went in the storage area under the seat. Waiting for registration number to come back so I can test on the road. Well pleased so far.
27 April 2019 Update.
The new registration number came yesterday so that was 4 weeks to get.it which isn't too bad. The forms you fill in look complicated but ALL of the information you need can be found on the Type Approval Certificate supplied by Direct Bikes. The print is small so I photographed it front and back with my phone so I could zoom in and read it much easier. I've only ridden the bike five miles, since yesterday but it seems unbelievable for the price.

great products however poor and lack of information
