I have purchased dozens of these Disklok's since its initial introduction in all colours including the chrome and latest Diamond version.

Most recently I have purchased a Silver Gold Edition for my Wife for her newly delivered VW ID. 3 GTX as it is the only visual and physical anti car theft deterrent I would choose at present.

Whilst using the Disklok on my cars I have never had an attempted or outright theft of any of my vehicles which has proved its worth.

Unfortunately, one of the biggest criticisms is the Disklok's unwieldy size and weight of which a simple and cheap redesign could address the latter.
One other criticism is the paint finish, in particular on the Silver Gold Edition which has a very poor durability due to having no apparent protective lacquered finish which results in the paint suffering from an unsightly paint degradation after a short time of ownership. For some reason and in my experience the Diamond edition does not suffer from this phenomenon which has a different silver shade of paint which is quite obviously of a better and more durable paint application.

I can’t praise the Disklok team enough for the service I received. From start to finish, the repair process was handled professionally, efficiently, and with genuine care. A special thank you to Adam, who truly went above and beyond to get everything sorted for me. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept me informed and made sure the end result was perfect. It’s rare these days to experience customer service at this level, and it’s a real credit to the company. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Disklok to anyone, outstanding product backed by outstanding people.

Disklok wont post my 1 star review, the protective cover is not fit for purpose , it offered zero protection to my mk8 r wheel, it was dented on the first use, admittedly the steering wheel is much more delicate the a mk7 wheel but this thing is as thick as a pair of tights. needs to be much thicker,

I bought a Disklok for my son’s Toyota Hi-Lux it lasted 10 months then fell apart! We took it back to Euro spares and they replaced it. Three nights ago his truck was broken into, it was on his drive. He woke up and saw that it was gone, he has a tracker fitted so he could see when it was taken and where they had left it. The police didn’t want to know they gave him a crime number and said he could pick it up. We got there and the Diskloc was still in place but they had used an angle grinder to cut the protruding part off. You can actually steer the car holding the Disklok and use your fingertips to steer.
Having looked at the part which was cut off it was very thin approximately 2mm at the most. When we got back home he looked at the info on his tracker and saw that it was driven off his driveway at 23.40. He was in bed at 23.10 so they must of been Quick.
I emailed Diskloc and suggested that they put an extra protruding part on their Disklok which is much thicker and of a harder grade steel. So far I have heard nothing! I would not recommend this lock to anyone and would suggest using a stop lock as these are much thicker and stronger.

The Disklok caused damage to my soft leather steering wheel due to insufficient padding. The leather is flaking off, paint from the Disklok that’s also flaked off over time is now burnt into the steering wheel too due to hot weather in the summer. Good product to protect against theft but a lot of annoyances with the product overall.

When I contacted customer service, they suggested buying an additional steering wheel cover, which felt like a poor solution. Absolutely no remediation or actual solution offered, only interested in taking more money from customers.

Despite my follow-up emails, they’ve ignored my concerns and failed to offer any resolution. Overall a good product despite the need to purchase an additional cover on top of the hefty price tag of Disklok. Customer service is very poor, pretty much non existent.

They processed my refund once I sent the package out via ups
Now they stopped the refund have their product and I’m waiting on something to show on my end
Update got my refund good product
Wish it had something that latched to the steering wheel so it won’t spin
