A brand that cannot even keep its promises.

Despite the reassuring words following my last review, most of the improvements that were mentioned have not materialised to date.

Shortly afterwards, a page was published outlining the “development progress” of their modules. Since its publication, that status has not seen obviously changes.

Beta versions of their modules compatible with the then-upcoming Divi 5 were also mentioned. That never happened. When asked about timelines or an estimated release date, they stated that the website did not reflect the actual progress internally, and customers were assured that production-ready modules for Divi 5 would be available from day one once Divi 5 was officially out of beta.

Divi 5 is now out of beta. As of today, no updated plugins appear to have been released. Non even in a beta version.

Requests for updates on their dedicated forum have not received a response, while they appears active in relation to newer product enquiries.

At the same time, lifetime deals continue to be promoted on their website for plugins that, in many cases, have not seen updates for a significant period. Just look at the changelogs.

Based on these observations, I am concerned about the reliability of the commitments made. I hope the situation will be clarified and that customers will receive transparent communication regarding development timelines and support plans.

I bought divigear carousal and never recieved activation code or account creditials

I bought divigear carousal and after purchase website redirect to a page where I downloaded the carousal plugin. Plugin won't activate without an activation code. I never got a welcome email nor did they setup an account with the email provided at purchase so I could access the activation code. I have sent in 3 ticket emails with no response. Not even acknowledgement that they received the ticket. Still waiting for a response and until then I will never buy again

Deactivation to troubleshoot = erasing…

Deactivation to troubleshoot = erasing all your work.
This is a ROTTEN deal. Plugin conflicts happen - a developer must be able to deactivate plugins to trouble shoot conflicts without having to start over from scratch.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We’re genuinely sorry for the frustration you experienced—it’s never our intention for a troubleshooting step like plugin deactivation to cause the feeling of “starting over from scratch.”

Deactivating DiviGear should not erase your work or settings. All saved layouts, modules, and configurations remain in your Divi Library/WordPress database, even if the plugin itself is temporarily deactivated. If you experienced data loss, it could be a bug, a database conflict, or something unusual in the environment.

If you’re open to it, our support team would love to look directly at your site setup to see what caused this issue. If we can check what caused it in your environment, we can ensure it doesn’t happen again for you.

Divi Gear sells software but never does…

Divi Gear sells software but never does any updates they get you to buy lifetime license only to find out they do not do any updates over a year still no updates...DO NOT BUY YOUR WEBSITE MAY DEVELOP SECURITY ISSUES ...THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN JUST TAKING MONEY AND DOING NOTHING...it's a shame because they have good software but very lazy company.

1. Updates & Transparency

It’s true some of our modules haven’t needed frequent changes, which can create the impression of “no updates.” Stable software doesn’t always require constant version bumps, but we agree we haven’t been consistent enough in showing that work publicly. 2. Security Concerns

We take this very seriously. All our modules follow WordPress coding standards and are regularly reviewed for security. A module not receiving a cosmetic update does not mean it’s insecure. That said, we understand why the lack of visible updates raised concerns, and we’re working to communicate our security and maintenance practices more clearly going forward.

3. Lifetime Licenses

Our LTDs are not a “take the money and run” model. They’re part of our long-term commitment to Divi users. We know trust is earned through action, not promises, which is why we’re focusing on consistent updates, better communication, and Divi 5 readiness.

Excellent support and fast resolution

I had a visual issue with the Blog module and couldn’t figure out why the featured images weren’t displaying properly. The DiviGear team identified the problem quickly and fixed it right away. They were professional, clear in their communication, and resolved everything within a day. Great experience overall. Highly recommended!

The Carousel 3.0 currently has a flaw

The Carousel 3.0 currently has a flaw. The button URL does not go to the URL entered in the field. I purged cache at the host level, cleared cache locally, tried different devices, and two different browsers. I got the buttons to work on Chrome on an iPhone 15 with the latest software update, but they did not work on Safari (mobile or web) and not on Chrome desktop. I submitted a ticket and they sent me Loom saying 'it's working fine on our end". Except the links are opening in the original page - not to the individual URLs I entered that went to specific breweries in Vermont. They sent me the note below then closed the ticket. Never letting me respond to the fact that the links are opening in the same page and not redirecting in a new tab... :-\

I opened a 2nd ticket but I have not received a response at all.

If you plan on using the button on this module, don't buy this until they fix the bug.

They responded quickly to my problem

They responded quickly to my problem, although the solution was to disable an option (I don't know what would have happened if I really needed that option), but the response and help were very efficient. The slider meets my expectations very well.
