I wish I could give them a 0/5. I thought I was doing it through the ministry of justice, quickly realized after paying $349 and asked for a refund as I didn’t need their service. There is no contact number, the site is .com not .co.nz, first red flag, second red flag there was no confirmation email or payment receipt, third they took days to reply, only to be pushy that I need their service, I demanded a refund every day! I requested a refund through my bank by lodging a dispute to get my money back. I managed to get their contact phone number, which was very suspicious (this woman was taken back that I was calling, reassured me it was processed and a confirmation email was sent). I found the reviews and couldn’t agree more with the negative feedback. This is an unnecessary service! Just use your lawyer and stay safe. I regret my stupidity accidentally thinking it was the online way to file a divorce.

I have a friend in jail who wants to get divorced. I gave divorcenz his $350 and my email because prisoners have no internet access. I received an unheaded email from someone, or possibly from an AI computer calling himself or itself 'Linda,' telling me I could only get the divorce if they had my friend's email. I told them why he could not get access to email, and asked for his money to be returned.

When they saw this negative review, someone from divorcenz claiming to be Linda wrote me a rambling, self-contradictory email in a format that no genuine Auckland law clerk would use.

The email was also sent at 5.07pm on Friday, when all law offices in Auckland have closed for the weekend, but when the time in India was only 10.38 am.

'Linda' claimed to have phoned me 'many' times, but was unable to reach me, but there were no unanswered calls registered on my cellphone. I sent an email giving my correct number and asking her? to ring me back, but she? has not phoned yet.

I have since discovered that my friend can get his divorce for $212 by filling out the Ministry ofJustice form 'One Party application for Order dissolving a Marriage of Civil Union,' getting it signed by a JP, then getting a copy of his marriage certificate, and taking it to a courthouse.

I will be very happy to withdraw this review when my friend's money is returned to the account it was sent from.

Disgustingly slow service with a lack of communication. Money hungry but slow to respond

this "business" have taken our money and ceased contact with us after they disclosed private information between parties which wasn't suppose to be shared.

incorrect divorce papers, waited months for a response about what has been happening regarding our divorce and now will not respond.

Gave out my address to my ex husband. Breaches privacy act and won’t call me back. Do not recommended.

Very pushy after I said I didn't want to go through them. No means no! It doesn't mean sending emails continuing to say why you should go through them and not the courts which in my case will be far cheaper.
The responses from Laura only confirmed my gut feeling that things were a bit dodgy.
I'd started to fill out the forms and thought I'd logged out of it as the payment was needed straight away, and hadn't had all the info required to complete it. Then recieved "payment failed" emails. I hope she has deleted any information I had shared, which is what I requested.
Yes you tried to come across as polite Laura, however the context of the pushy emails spoke volumes.
