Good choice of towels and delighted to have the option of sizes. My partner used one for a couple of years now and swears by it. We used it for sailing and beach holidays.

I ordered a beach towel and a matching beach bag as a gift for a friend. My friend was so pleased with the quality of the item. I was impressed with the speed of the delivery and great customer service following the delivery of the order. I have since ordered the same items for another friends birthday!

Love Dock and bay, we have had Large beach towels, kids ponchos and a beach bag for ourselves.
8 Large beach towels for gifts and x2 hair wraps.
My next order will be 2 more kids ponchos in the next size up, 1 hair wrap and a beach mat!

Pointless Recycled Rubbish
I purchased the Quick Dry Hair Wrap, in the sale. Fortunately, I did not pay the full £16 as I was very disappointed with this product.
I have shoulder length hair and the drying time is no less than if I had used an ordinary towel. You can’t really do anything with the wrap, other than wrap your hair, and unwrap and dry as normal. Pointless.
Ok, great - It’s made from recycled plastic, but it doesn’t do the job it’s intended for, so I will not be purchasing any further products of this nature.

We completely understand how frustrating it is when something doesn’t live up to expectations. Our hair wraps aren’t designed to fully dry your hair, but to be a gentler alternative to a traditional cotton towel. They're made to wick away water more efficiently, helping to reduce friction, minimise frizz and breakage, and cut down drying time before styling 🙌🏼
We usually suggest gently squeezing out as much excess water as possible first, then applying your products, combing through, and wrapping your hair up. It won’t leave your hair completely dry, but it should leave it in good condition and ready to style 💛
That said, we know everyone’s hair is different, and we’re genuinely sorry it didn’t work for you this time. We really do appreciate the feedback and will pass it along to our product team. I ordered 2 I'll wash you dry' tea…
I ordered 2 'I'll wash you dry' tea towels from Dock & Bay on the 1st of February. A couple of days later I was contacted to say that the tea towels were out of stock. No problem, I opted for a refund and it was received promptly. A few days later I received a mail shot promoting tea towels and I ordered the same ones, assuming that they were new stock or returns. Confirmation of my order was received again and the amount transferred. However, today 9th February I was really annoyed to receive the same "we're now out of stock" email again, offering alternative ones or a refund. When I complained I was told there is sometimes a delay before the information from the warehouse is reflected on the website. I don't know how long they were actually out of stock before I first ordered them but it's very poor customer service that I was able to order and pay for them a second time and they are still on the website for sale 9 days after I received the first out of stock email. I can still order 'I'll wash you dry' tea towels on the website now! What a complete waste of everyone's time!

While there can occasionally be a delay between our warehouse stock levels and what’s shown on the website, that doesn’t change the fact that you were able to place and pay for the same item again. This is something that we take very seriously, and we are working diligently to tighten up our system and prevent these kinds of things from happening again in the future. In the meantime, we have manually removed the tea towel from our website, and it is no longer available to purchase 🫶🏼
When we are out of stock of an item, we always offer swaps, as we know how important it is to get the perfect tea towel and we want to give our customers options they’ll love! That said, we completely appreciate that this wasn’t what you were hoping for, and we’re truly sorry for the disappointment caused.
We would love to make this a bit better for you, so we have emailed you directly, hope to hear back from you. Thanks again for your honesty and for giving us the chance to hear your feedback. We really appreciate it, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration caused 💛

STOP making products out of plastic!!! For goodness sake why would anyone want any to dry their body or their dishes in microplastics??? Who is lacking the brains enough to be making or buying this TOXIC rubbish??
Companies like this need to be banned from claiming “sustainability” because they use recycled plastic. It shreds MORE microplastics than new plastic does. Once again we don’t want this literal RUBBISH on our bodies or in our water.

Our towels are made from recycled plastic, not new plastic. By giving plastic that already exists a second life, we help reduce ocean & landfill waste, lower CO₂ emissions, save petroleum, conserve energy, and even create jobs ♻️✨ Durable, long-lasting, and designed to cut down single-use waste — that’s the goal! 💛
We completely understand that microplastics are a concern when buying synthetic products. Any synthetic fabric does release microplastics with every wash, of course, but we’ve woven our products with a flat weave, which releases a much smaller amount compared to fluffy towels or sweaters. We also operate B-Corp-compliant warehouses that take extra care to minimise microplastic shedding.
We’re always working to improve our materials, processes, and impact, and we truly appreciate your feedback. If you’d ever like to learn more about our sustainability journey or certifications, our team would be happy to share 💛
