The Soap dairy is an excellent place to source and purchase gifts especially with Christmas presents in mind. The wool is simply fabulous. It’s vitally important to support our farmers who are essential to the economic and environmental sustainability of the countryside. Knitting is an excellent way to be in the moment, do something positive, and create a unique item of clothing. I would highly recommend Dodgson Wood.

I ordered a jumper's worth of yarn. It was neatly packaged and boxed up, and had a nice handwritten thank you note. Delivery was quick too. Would definitely order again.

I met Maria of Dodgson Wood at a wool show and bought some of her Teeswater Laceweight. It was absolutely wonderful and I bought some more online. Super-fast delivery. Soap packaging is compostable and the soap lasts ages in a drain-away soap-dish as long as you keep it reasonably dry. Feels kind on the skin, smells good, and made sustainably with low environmental harm- what’s not to like? Thankyou DW 🤗
