Don’t make the same mistake I did and buy from Dormify. I got the bundle, the quality of everything is bad, the color choices are dull for how pricey it is, nothing is soft or cozy like you would expect. it’s way overpriced. My back hurts after sleeping on their mattress. all my roommates spent way less (they bought foam mattress toppers) and their beds are so cozy they rave about it. be cautious of anything bought in a bundle because nothing beats you going out and choosing what you want and think is cozy. Plus, they won’t let me return it so now I have to sell it myself. Guys, don’t buy from Dormify!

They are crooks

They are crooks! Please use any other company and do not order from them. I donated my son’s rug, hamper basket bundle and nightstand on my way out of town after moving him in. The quality was horrendous. Three weeks after moving him in, we received the headboard we ordered. I called, live chatted and emailed them. It’s impossible to get in touch. They informed me that it was a “special” order and non refundable. They are scammers and so dishonest.

I ordered a dresser for my daughter's dorm for Christmas and since she wasn't going to school until the following spring we unfortunately did not open the package immediately sadly (we assumed it would be a quality item, our bad) When we began to assemble the product the first thing we noticed was that the parts bad had been opened and then sealed together with tape. Upon further inspection one of the bars were also bent and one of the pieces of the back of the dresser was broken in half. It was clear to us that this had been a returned item and no one inspected it they just resold it. When I reached out and explained the situation they simply stated that there was nothing they could do since I purchased the item so long ago. I understand that there had been some time between but a good company would've have never let something like that ship out in the first place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Poor quality products and VERY POOR customer service.

Bought a college bundle for my son and…

Bought a college bundle for my son and got only 3 items of the entire bundle. Color chosen was not available but they said they had the white color option which I confirmed. But it was not sent and their customer service agent, Diane, says she can not confirm when the rest of the bundle will be shipped. And I paid for expedite delivery. At this point, I can not wait any longer and the customer agent says she must verify how to cancel my order. What a bad company service. They do not have the products and cannot cancel the order and reimburse my money? This is a US$213 order, not delivered, and with no delivery date set. No place to print a return label for items that were partially delivered? Stay away for scams like this.

Dormify IS CLUELESS!

What a joke of a company. Waited patiently for 7 weeks to be able to install a hutch in my daughter's dorm only to have to be told we would have to wait another month?! The preorder date literally changed 4 times. Why would a company have an item pre-ordered if they cannot control when it will be delivered? Show some respect to your customers. All senior management is shielded by the same employees that complaints would be filed against, pretty cool system for the employees. They have free reign to do and say as they please without any accountability. No phone service, only chat. Must be AI, because the "people" I spoke with know nothing about anything, for the company's sake I hope it's AI. Demanded my order be cancelled and to think this was my first of 3 kids that will be attending college. Back to the big box stores! We will never be back again and the word will be spread about Dormify's negligence and anti-customer mentality because unlike them, I do care about my fellow man. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

Packages no longer delivered (formerly dormroom.com)

Dormify somehow acquired dormroom.com. That was the company we have been purchasing care packages for our kids for a couple years. They were great. Always got notified when the package was sent and got to talk to our kids and see what they got. Since Dormify took over, the packages stopped coming. One in December was missed (for finals). Then the valentines package was missed. That’s when we realized something was wrong. I contacted them last week and have been in an email battle ever since. They refuse to give me a refund and tell me all sales are final. They claim the college must have lost the package and they are not responsible. The college has never lost any other package but somehow they lost two in a row from Dormify. Then they offer to try and “resend” the package and ask me for the address. Shouldn’t they already have that if they claim they were delivered. I am being treated like garbage by their customer service. They claim to have launched investigations into the lost packages and will not do anything until that is resolved. They already said if the college lost them, we’re out of luck. There’s no way they lost 2 in a row after never failing to deliver all the other packages that have gone to him. I hate to leave bad reviews but this company is one to avoid for sure! Don’t let this happen to you!

Complete scam, bedding left fabric all over me and fell apart. Out $300, customer service does not reply. They are simply scammers.

Scam...a bait-and-switch!

I purchased a Valentine's Day care package for my daughter in college. We chose this package because it came with a teddy bear. The bear was shown in the photo and was part of the written description of package contents.

When the order was being processed and shipped, I received an email notice. The notice contained the same image of the care package with the teddy bear.

When my daughter received the package, there was no bear included. I went straight to the company webpage and saw that the bear was still listed in the photo and in the description. I took a screenshot just in case.

Then when I complained to Dormify about the missing bear, they told me (several days and multiple attempts later) that a bear was not included as part of the package and that it was not on their website. Over those few days, they changed the listing to remove the bear! Very shady, and I'm glad I took a screenshot of what it looked like previously.

They also tried to claim that because they bought the original company which had taken my order, OCM (On Campus Marketing), they were not responsible for anything. It took multiple rounds of emails and social media comments to get a response.

They denied all this of course, but then said they would offer a partial refund. No refund ever came and they are no longer responding to emails.

This is a small thing as far as cost, but a big thing as far as reliability and trustworthiness of this company. I don't recommend this company at all...everything seems to be a bait-and switch.

If I could give them a zero rating

If I could give them a zero rating, I would. Absolutely the worst customer service. I tried several times to contact them and I received a response email that they would reply in 2-3 days. They never did contact me and I could not find a phone number. They messed up my order and now I am stuck with it.

Not happy

Not happy! Bought some items for my room and feel totally ripped off. Could've gotten the same stuff for cheaper on Amazon. The customer service rep was super chippy with me when I asked about a return. The bed set frayed and fell apart after one cycle in the wash. No thanks and not again!

Cheaply Made Products

I ended up giving dormify a shot and was deeply disappointed. The bed set I got fell apart in a week. I was a little concerned because it already had some fraying on it to begin with, but then it pretty much unravelled right away. I contacted customer support and they gave me the run around even though it says on their website that they allow returns. They didn't so I was out $300 bucks. Years ago, they were one of the only dorm companies out there, but now there are way too many other options. I won't buy from them again. Very unhappy and I do not recommend.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service! I bought a duvet from them and it came with a hole in it. I sent them a message via Twitter and Facebook and no one even responded. Ridiculous!

Excellent experience.

This place has some of the best customer service available. I bought something as a Christmas present and didn't realize the zipper was broken until after I gave it. It was well after the 30 day return period, but they emailed me within a day offering a replacement, credit, or refund. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some cute bedroom stuff.
