Our benches are handmade and built using a screwed construction, which is an intentional and durable woodworking method, not all quality furniture is made using traditional mortise-and-tenon joints. We appreciate that this style of construction may not have met your expectations, but we do take pride in the quality of our products and believe they represent good value for a handmade item.
