Amazing experience shopping for my daughter’s prom dress, so lovely and super helpful in the Liverpool store. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really good and knowledgeable information from the staff. Appointment only business to help get the attention required. Loved that they make sure no one else at your school has the same dress as you! They arranged delivery to my home address in Ireland which took about a week once the dress was paid in full.

100 % recommend Dress2party at Glasgow, if your looking for a prom dress this is the place to go, all staff were friendly and extra patient with us. All dresses are stunning and amazing quality and outshine other boutiques in Glasgow.

Terrible Experience. We'd booked an appointment and although initially was welcomed in, from the point of being checked in we were basically ignored. We were taken downstairs, told to look at dresses in the corner and then totally ignored. All staff appeared very stressed and the stressful atmosphere was palpable. The room was very small and cramped and it didnt seem as though anyone was enjoying their experience. We waited patiently for someone to serve us but in the end we gave up. As we left, we walked past the manager who saw us but didnt say anything. Such a disappointing experience.

If I’m being honest I was completely shocked with the approach from the staff today. I went into dress to party Glasgow wanting to try on a few dresses which I had wanted to try on for my prom, I had heard nothing but great things about the place but unfortunately this was not the case. When I booked my appointment they mentioned on the website (not in the booking form) that I need to have a 18 year old with me, I chose to bring my sister who is a legal guardian towards me. I was then approached by a lady who said that I was not aloud to try anything on as I had no legal guardian and no documents to prove this, as it was NOT mentioned in the booking form and NOT mentioned on the website. The woman not only spoke with nasty mannerisms but also was raising her voice in the shop embarrassing me in-front of the other people in the shop, which was relatively busy today. She also mentioned of how she couldn’t do this appointment due to the fact that I would be stripped naked in the changing rooms, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable as one would be if someone was raising her voice about something like that. Overall I am really disappointed with the service from this shop and will not be returning.

Amazing, really good for prom shopping

I went to the London dress 2 party store , which was very easy to find being just behind Oxford street . As soon as we rung the doorbell at our appointment time we were welcome with the warmest greeting . I do suggest booking if you would like to try on dresses as it could be busy , and the service is something you would not want to miss out on . They advised my daughter Emily and made her feel at ease straight away , they gave honest opinions and helped her with her choice . We were advised on all the options of payments and how it works with delivery and collections they also take the school you attend . They also give advice on alterations . We had a great experience shopping for prom dresses , and Emily choose the perfect dress

Poor communication and wasted time
Last week my daughter and her friend visited the store to look for prom dresses. They were told that fittings require an appointment and were invited to book one for the following week.
They arrived today with a confirmed appointment, but were refused a fitting because no parent was present. This requirement was never mentioned during their first visit or at the time of booking.
Very disappointing experience and poor communication. We would not have booked the appointment if this had been clearly explained in advance

Great customer service and beautiful dresses very helpful

The professionalism and assistance provided by the team and customer service were top-notch and consistently supportive.

My teenage daughter and her friends booked appointments at Dress2Party to try on prom dresses, with the appointments spread over a two-hour period. We travelled from Buckinghamshire to London especially for this and arrived with plenty of time to spare, expecting a positive and enjoyable experience.

On arrival, we were immediately asked whether the girls had a parent or guardian with them. I explained that I was the responsible adult accompanying them for their booked appointments, but was abruptly told that this was “not how things worked” and that only my daughter would be allowed to try on dresses, as the other girls did not have their own parents present.

We were then told that the shop was too small to accommodate a fitting service for us. This was despite the girls being entirely happy to split into two groups as per the separately booked appointments to avoid crowding. One group could wait upstairs or step outside the premises while the other used the three available changing rooms, and then switch over — with me present and supervising each group. This would be less crowding due to having one parent in total rather than 2 guests per girl.

This restriction was particularly confusing given that the website allows three individual bookings per hour, all of which we had booked. Adding to the inconsistency, two other customers arrived without appointments, accompanied by parents, and were taken downstairs and provided with a full fitting service. The quantity of people that were walk ins during that time matched the quantity of our group. However, with only 2 potential customers rather than the 5 that we had booked appointments for.

The poor level of customer service was particularly surprising given that the dresses range from £400 to £1,000. Each girl had already selected a dress from the website, understood the cost, and had money with her to purchase if she found the right one.

The manner in which we were spoken to was shocking and left the girls feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. What should have been a special prom-dress experience was completely ruined, and even if the perfect dresses had been available, the girls no longer wanted to try them on after this treatment.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Dress2Party due to their customer service.

Absolutely great service, we come in to see a dress for my daughter and was impressed with service and variety of dress at different budget and colours, will definitely come back for more dress shopping. Thanks girls

Had a fantastic experience at Liverpool store. Fun and helpful with an extensive choice of dresses for my daughter’s prom. The shop was large and well planned out with plenty of room to get changed and we did not feel rushed in making a decision. Daughter came away very happy and I felt the advice and help given was perfectly pitched. Thank you, you made the experience a great one.

My Daughter came in today to the Glasgow store looking for her 18th birthday party dress.
Girls where fantastic with her and made her feel at home. She tried on 3 different styles and settled on Faye in yellow. Absolutely stunning cant wait to pick it up when it comes in xxx

Took my daughter to the shop in Glasgow as we were visiting family over Hogmanay. Lady called Eleanor was lovely helped us find the right dress which was perfect for her. Cannot wait to see her in it in July.

Absolutely exceptional service, even from across the world.
I recently ordered a prom dress for my granddaughter from Canada, and when it arrived we were not sure the fit was quite right. From the very first contact, Vanessa guided me through the entire process, including choosing the correct size. She recommended a size 2, which I would never have imagined would fit based on international sizing differences, but she was absolutely right.

I had hoped to give the dress to my granddaughter as a Christmas gift, and Vanessa helped push the order through. Thanks to her effort, the dress arrived nearly two weeks before Christmas, which was a wonderful surprise.

When the dress arrived, Vanessa continued to assist us. She walked me step by step through how to fit the gown correctly, explained how the bodice should sit, and provided patient and expert reassurance. With her guidance, the dress now fits my granddaughter perfectly. It truly fits like a glove.

This level of international customer service is extraordinary. Vanessa made us feel as though we were standing in the shop with her, and her knowledge of formalwear fitting is outstanding. We are absolutely thrilled with the dress and deeply grateful for the exceptional support we received.

Dress2Party, and Vanessa in particular, have my highest recommendation.
