My wife ,me and my brother and sister came from Dallas texas to Dr. Safa Manav, who is famous for his treatment in Istanbul, Turkey, to do upper and lower blepharoplasty. He completed the surgery for all four of us His Coordinator Janan is also very cooperative,active girl, without her, our staying would not have achieved our goal. Dr. Safa is a young fast,energizer,and an efficient being.The hospital and nursing staff incredibly helpful generally Dr.safa he is amazing sargent the result was fantastic for all 4 of us he has golden hands. Thank so much. We recommend fro everyone.

Following a lot of disorganization, misinformation & an involuntary change to my surgery date, Dr Manav cancelled 1 day prior. The International Consultant (IC) was not considerate of the fact that travellers need notice to make plans. I didn't get preop instructions until 12 days before even though I asked 2x. So I scrambled to make last minute appointments to remove extensions etc. I confirmed 2x the consult was same day as hospitalization; booked flights/hotels & sent confirmations to be told my surgery date changed causing a big issue with bookings. No apology, explanation or accountability until I asked; she blamed it on the dr saying he changed his policy so consults are now 1 day prior. Ok, but should've let me know sooner. She also said I might only need 1 night in hospital after I confirmed 4x it would be 2 nights. I got mad because this changed hotel plans again so she left it 2 nights. 36 hr before I had to ask for airport pick up info. She said I need to send flight/hotel details so she could make the arrangements; but I already sent it! IC provided medical information that she is not qualified to advise on. For the online consult I forgot to ask the dr if I qualify for a lip lift. IC said I do & sent me a quote. During the in person consult, dr said I don't. After asking several times about the consult appointment, I was told 8 pm Mon that it's 7:20 pick up Tues. 20 min before pick up the consult moved to 1pm. The driver was late & the dr was 1.5 hr late. The bloodwork paperwork had my incorrect name on it. Patient Coordinator (PC) omitted one of the agreed upon procedures and argued with me about it until I showed her in writing the agreement between me and the IC. Finally I had a 15 min consult with the dr; this paperwork had my incorrect age. Here I learned he had no idea about a medical condition I have requiring special medication for surgery. I confirmed this medication would be available with the IC weeks before and that the dr agreed; neither was true. After the consult, I found out that the IC had failed to order this medication in advance and that it is not available in Türkiye; specifically I was told it would take 7 days to get now. So...cancelled. The acceptable outcome would have been to take full accountability & apologize. Instead the dr sent the PC I had just met to deliver the news. When I did get a chance to speak to the IC about my deposit she pointed fingers at the anesthesiologist and the people who didn't tell her the medicine had to be ordered in advance. She also sent me a WhatsApp that the dr would've done the surgery if the other dr didn't refuse. Really, and put me at risk? Rather than apologize, she argued with me about returning my deposit because I had used their transport 2x (from airport & to consult) & kept $100. To quibble over $100, after they cost me thousands on airfare/hotel & unpaid vacation is quite ridiculous. Obviously as disappointed and upset as I was, I agree it was best to cancel rather than be unsafe. But there was no reason it should have been unsafe if they had done due diligence. The dr should've consulted the others before I left my country. Their assessment also contradicts what my dr and hematologist said, which is that it's perfectly safe with the medication. Yes it cost them too, but mistakes have consequences and I shouldn't have had to pay them. In hindsight I should have cancelled weeks ago; but I kept telling myself I was going for the surgeon and not the admin staff. But it's a reflection on the whole team; I don't know if he is a good surgeon but his business is a disaster. Some of the before/after photos they use are taken from other sites. I contacted one in Canada, they confirmed the photo was of their patient and that they do not know Dr Manav. At no time did anyone say anything about risk of surgery or recovery. I have seen other poor reviews and the response often shows lack of accountability, blaming patient or pointing fingers. Curious how they will try to discredit my complaints or justify their actions. I feel I dodged a bullet!

I had a breast augmentation with lift last week and Dr Manav and his team have been incredible. I’m from the UK and the whole process from booking with his assistance Belma, to his assistant who guided me through the process once in Turkey, Janan, as well as Dr Manav himself including everyone inbetween. The facilities at the hotel and hospital were top standard and the staff there were more than helpful and attentive. I am happy with the results of my surgery so far, understand the plans for the healing process and should I consider further plastic surgery in future for anything else, I will be contacting Dr Manav’s office. Thank you all for your support and making this a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Dr. Safa has magic in his hands. I have a rate autoimmune condition which caused fat loss on my face and arm, I have received 2 treatments from him so far and I love the results. He’s very understanding and caring and listens to all your needs. I travelled from Canada to meet him, and will be going back again to get more beauty treatments.

I had to change my old breast implants and Dr Safa was strongly recommended to me. I don't speak English well but he was able to understand perfectly what I needed. one month after surgery the result is perfect as I wanted it! Dr Safa is really very good, I recommend him.

I had a breast augmentation and my left breast felt more painful and different from the other. When leaving Turkey on my last check up Dr Safa said it looked lumpy but that it was normal. It never felt right and I made an appointment in Canada to have a surgeon look at it. I did everything they said. I avoided working out, took 3 weeks off work and slept on my back. 40 days after my surgery, I was having intercourse with my partner and my artery ruptured. I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery. I lost almost 1 litre of blood and took another 3 weeks off work. This was my experience. I was never told I couldnt have sex a month after surgery. Something else was wrong and they have tried to blame it on that.

My experience with Dr Safa, Fatih, Janan and the rest of the team is by far outstanding.
I communicated with Fatih first asking lots of questions until we flew to Istanbul Turkey 🇹🇷 (10mnths Fatih had the patients of a saint.) Helping me and putting my mind at ease with any fears I had. Fatih was always professional in response and always replied back with an answer promptly.

I could not be happier with my results. We flew from AUS I had Tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, breast augmentation, botox and filler.

I love the care Dr. Safa gave me during my entire stay! I came from America to have a MMO- tummy tuck, lipo 360& breast implants. He did an AMAZINGGGGG job! I still have swelling because I am only 10 days post op, but I am already smaller in the waist than I was pre-op! My boobs are a very natural size which I needed and wanted because I have a small frame, but he made me look Natural!!! Just what I wanted!!! Dr.Safa also has a wonderfulllll coordinator named Lale I recommend u request her specifically! Lale is the best- She has lived here in America and makes the experience feel that much more at home and comfortable! Request her if you can- the other coordinators have nothing on that girl!

On Tuesday 23rd of January I was again picked up and taken to the Academic Hospital where I was greeted by Dr Safa and his Fantastic Team, all the relevant tests, questions, and consultation were delivered in a first class nature, at 11.50am I was taken to Theatre, I arrived back at my room around 6.45pm where again Dr Safa accompanied me, this man's care and dedication to his work is outstanding, he is constantly making sure you are pain free and comfortable all of the time, at 1.30am on Wednesday 24th of January Dr Safa called back to the hospital to check I was OK, his staff are as attentive and caring as he, they really cannot do enough for you,
I would undoubtedly 1000.000% recommend this Doctor without a doubt, you will be safe, looked after, received highest level of care and attention,

You will die! Don’t go there! Mommy make over. I know a very healthy woman who died the day after he performed surgery on her. They said she fainted and could not be resuscitated although they tried to resuscitate her for one hour. Who tries to resuscitate anyone of a hou? Long before an hour a person would be pronounced dead. What’s worst, he kept the money from the surgery for months. Major and gross negligence. He should be working in a slaughter house not performing surgery on healthy people. Don’t do it. Don’t don’t! Don’t do it. Stay away if you want to live. Huge tragedy! Unreal. The family is in shock and will never recover from this constant trauma which clearly has been covered up because you won’t hear much about this unless someone makes it public. I want to make sure that no one goes what she went through. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful office, videos and nice comments you see. It’s all snake oil. Even the funeral home said they have been many cases like this, but we never hear about them. Karma is real however so God’s will be done.
