While learning a new language, we want our students to feel confident and at ease. That is why we strive for a comfortable, fun, and safe space for students. We believe that the better we know our students, the better our lessons and learning outcomes will be. At the same time, we realize that as tutors we ourselves are still, and will always, be learning. Besides teaching our language, we teach cultural customs and behaviors around it, as they are intertwined. Therefore, we help our students to grow their confidence by practicing Dutch in real-life scenarios. Dutch for Adults originated from a passion to help future expats and exchange students learn about the Dutch language and culture in a fun environment, so they can truly thrive and feel at home in The Netherlands.

I'm so happy to have found a school with great teachers that engage their students and make their lessons fun and interesting. My daughter is learning Dutch with juf Rosanne and is loving her and is always looking forward to her lesson. My daughter has learned a lot and is now working towards her certificate so she can study in The Netherlands.
We highly recommend Dutch for Adults as they offer great classes and wonderful teachers.
My spouse and I have been studying Dutch with Rosanne as our tutor for a little more than a year now, planning to continue indefinitely. Rosanne has been a great support and resource for both of us. She is knowledgeable, humble, adapts the lessons and format to our needs, and provides an all-around wonderful learning experience. We are happy to have found a teacher who not only learned Dutch as a first language and formally studied language education, but also was very personable and could help put us at ease to make the learning environment as low-stress and effective as possible.
