I discovered My Duvet Flip after a friend shared a clip with me on TikTok, and I’ve been subscribed on YouTube ever since. The first episode I watched was the CTO of Pinterest, and it immediately stood out from anything else I’d seen in this space.

The format is excellent, the conversations are thoughtful, and Jackson Parsons is an outstanding host. He comes across as genuinely kind, calm, and engaged, which makes guests feel comfortable and the content feel meaningful rather than performative.

What really impressed me was the support beyond the show. After reaching out to Jack on social media, I ended up on a call with him and a woman named Libby to talk through my career and next steps in tech. That level of accessibility and care is rare and made a real impact on me.

The only area I’d love to see developed further is more events. I understand why YouTube comments are turned off, it helps protect guests, brands, and the positive tone of the show but many regular viewers would really value opportunities to connect with each other. Events or meet-ups where people can share ideas, projects, and experiences would be a great addition.

Overall, My Duvet Flip feels thoughtful, trustworthy, and genuinely focused on helping people. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in careers, leadership, or real stories behind success.

The guests themselves often appear knowledgeable and generous with their time, but without real interaction from listeners, it’s hard to gauge the impact or value of the content. I felt left wondering whether the listener numbers are meaningful or simply presented to impress.

I would strongly encourage potential applicants and collaborators do their research.

The website appears unfinished and functions solely as a holding page linking to an email address.

My experience has been one of poor communication, unrealistic job postings, ghosting of applicants, and claims that the organisation operate in ways that feel exploitative rather than supportive.
