Before I start I just want to say that I am a big fan of Knipex tools, all of my side cutters and cable cutters are Knipex, but, unfortunately, this doesn't match up. It's a very well made tool, as you'd expect, but it doesn't seem to work that great on the particular cables I work with, external telecoms cables. The circumferential cutter seems to be ok but using it on the longitudinal setting it really struggles to make any real impression and slips quite badly, maybe it's because there aren't that many "gripping teeth" to pull it along, you'll probably only move between 5 - 10mm at a time at best. Such a shame, especially for the price.
