Very good instructions. Easy pick up. Lower price including full insurance than other hire car companies. I will use these guys again.

We hired a car for a couple of weeks from Perth - where East Cast has just opened (on the west coast :) Having had previous experience with East Coast in Melbourne and Brisbane we were not surprised to find the service and value in WA just as good. We no longer look at car hire from any other company. Thank you again - warm and friendly, easy to book, great vehicle, unbeatable value. No hidden costs.

I frequently hire cars in Hobart and up to now took the 'easy' option of an airport collection. Tried East Coast this time as it was significantly cheaper, and delighted with the experience. Smooth collection from airport, quality vehicle, easy drop off. I sustained a windscreen chip and paid the excess, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a refund when the actual repair cost was less. Very fair.

Wonderful and helpful staff. Great service from pick up to drop off. Needed to extend the hire period midway through and was just a quick phone call and done. Pick up car was immaculately clean, Sorry the return condition wasn`t :) Would have no problem recommending East Coast Rentals for your car hire.

Highly effective communication regarding the car pick-up instructions as the rental is not at the airport so needs a free shuttle bus pick up. Despite near closing time the staff was very helpful and supportive.

Don't bother with Avis, Budget, Herz etc. Go straight to East Coast Car Rentals.
The price for a 26 day rental was less than half the price of the mainstream international companies.

Easy booking (through booking.com). No hard sell of any extra’s. The staff were friendly and polite.

Vehicle (MG ZS) was clean on pickup, and a nice surprise was that it had Apple CarPlay.

No assessing the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and magnifying glass upon return. A real sensible approach to car hiring and a refreshing experience.

We’re heading back next year and will definitely be hiring with East Coast again.

I have rented cars all over the planet., and I found the staff at Cairns Airport branch to be exceptional. Recommend most highly!!

This car rental is second to none. I have used them twice now and they have been outstanding both times. Kind, helpful, great price and the cars are fabulous. I will definitely continue to use them when we fly over once a year from the UK.

Kia bus worked well for 4 adults and luggage. Rear passenger sliding doors were difficult to slide ( ok if you were weight lifter)
Booked thru booking.com whose insurance was a waste of money, still ended up paying comprehensive ins with east coast rentals.

Used East coast in Tasmania for a 19 day hire for a road trip got a great clean car. Then we hired another car in Perth airport for 7 nights for a south west trip. The Shuttle bus in both branches worked perfectly, with friendly informative drivers.
The Perth branch looks really new staff were super helpful and we got another great car.
Although the Hobart airport branch was a little busy as it was 0930am The staff quickly got through the clients.
Staff at both branches were really superb.
Pricing was reasonable for the car and extras required.

This company has been immensely helpful to me when my travel plans got turned upside down. I initially hired a car for 6 weeks but then had to extend the rental period an extra 4 days... there was no trouble doing that. At the end of this hire period the car was turned in. Their shuttle service took me to the airport. I could not board my scheduled flight as planned and would be delayed at least another 3 days. This company were able to provide another car with no waiting period. On the day this car was to be returned my flight was cancelled at the last minute, so again I had to extend the car hire period for another two days. This was handled with ease by East Coast's staff. Throughout this whole time, the staff helped me through what was a stressful time at the end of a great vacation. They were able to put my mind at ease so I could focus on my other important issues. Thank you. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone.

We were met at the arrival terminal as promised and taken back to the rental office. We'd paid the extra dollars to get the insurance before we arrived, so our car was ready to go. The whole process took about 5 minutes at the office.

Arrived in Bribane late and tired and was so glad I had booked with East Coast Car Rentals. Made the trip from airport to their base easy and quick. Sorted out the booking in no time fitted the sat nav which was brilliant during our trip. Returning the car was simplicity itself ,really helpful staff and dropped us back at the airport hotel. Painless. Highly recommend and thank the guys.
